Make sure the account you use to connect to the enterprise geodatabase has sufficient permissions: read and write permission. You are the portal admin, so your portal privilege should not be a problem. The credential your service use to connect to the database will be stored in your registered data store. Depending on your enterprise geodatabase authentication: If the data is stored in a database that you access using database authentication, the database user you provide when registering the database must have permissions to the data. If you access data through operating system authentication, add the ArcGIS Server account to the database and grant it permissions to the resources that it needs to access. When the service runs, it will sign in to the database management system as the ArcGIS Server account. Hope this helps.

Ok, that means it's not an ArcGIS Enterprise platform issue, it's an application issue. Try to configure an EXB web app with the out-of-box widgets, I mean without any customization and see if it works. if it works in the map viewer, it should work in this case. If you can prove it's the application issue caused by the customization, you'll have to get the developer to fix it. Please keep this in mind, when you upgrade your ArcGIS Enterprise, those customized code won't be upgraded automatically, you'll need the developer to upgrade the code accordingly.

Simply put, I'll use WebGISDR as part of the business continuity plan (make sure to test it on a new deployment to make sure it works). and when I need to do an ArcGIS upgrade, I'll engage the IT department to do VM snapshots, plus a full WebGISDR backup.

Esri doesn't explicitly say how deep the nested group layer can be, but I have to say it's extremely rare to see a digital map with more than 3 levels of group layers. Performance aside, the map readability/usability suffers when it becomes so complicated. I'd break up the map into multiple maps rather than organise the content as one map with >3 levels of group layers.

as far as I know, there is no direct relationship between widgets and portal user types. having said that, it makes sense to have permissions to create content in portal when you use analysis widget. You'll have to think of user authentication and authorization in your EXB application, if you want widgets to respond differently for different user types?...

what OS are you using? The only requirement for CPU is x86_64 architecture (64bit), and the OS can be Linux or Windows. I'd check the other system requirements first and reinstall if the system meets the minimal requirements, particularly when the CPU works for 11.2. Do you have the same issue when loading the web map in ArcGIS Portal Map Viewer? If the webmap loads fine in the map viewer, it means something is wrong with your web application. The screenshot shows you are loading the webmap in a custom web application, some of the code may be causing the issue. for example, some libraries may fail to load before the application is initialized, and it's kind of random. Please see if the following post helps. Solved: Re: Cannot read property 'toLowerCase' of null - Esri Community

WebGISDR is unique and useful although VM shapshots are very popular these days: If you have a distributed GIS deployment (servers, storage, etc), which can be overwhelming for snapshots, resulting in inconsistency in the snapshots if you don't have a good understanding of the GIS IT architecture. WebGISDR removed all these IT infrastructure level complexities when backing up your GIS. It is a GIS level backup, GIS administrators can do it whenever needed. because the GIS administrator doesn't need to engage with IT, it's very flexible. It is also useful when you need to duplicate your GIS, for example, creating a test enviornment.

First all, clear the browser cache or use the browser private mode to make sure the symbol is not working. Generally speaking, many advanced labeling and symbolization are not supported in the webmap. particularly when you are using feature service, which is rendered on the client. To make sure your symbols will work on all client, In ArcGIS Pro, in the "Share As Web Map" pane, check the "Use symbol types compatible with all clients" check box, and share the map as a web map to retain and view its symbology. Another option is to configure the symbology in the Map Viewer in poral. If the customized symbology is really important for your map, can you use map image layer, which will be rendered on the ArcGIS Server. Share a map image layer—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation

There won't be easy answer for it ... If budget allows, I'd suggest contacting your local Esri Professional Services for a thorough review on your portal content and ask them to help you to setup a good governance framework. they'll look into your identity management, data flows, publishing / sharing controls, just name a few. and they can give your practical advice based on your content / workflow and Esri best practices... It will be more worthwhile when you know your pain points, you can setup specific expectations and ask them to deliver in their reports. Once you have the governance framework, your daily admin work will be much easier. I know it sounds like a Esri Promo...

@JacobBoyle412 Hi Jacob, Does it mean SLP will support ArcGIS Server 10.1 and above? Actually, 10.6.1 and above should cover most of the ArcGIS server in use, I guess. Thanks.

It should be working fine in ArcGIS pro, if I understand the question correctly. All you need to do is to set your geodatabase indexing, this is turned off by default! Please check it out: "To index the contents of an enterprise database—which can be resource intensive—you must do two things: add the database to the project with the Add Database command . and set your indexing options appropriately. At the next incremental index update, the contents are indexed." From <https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/projects/index-project-items.htm#GUID-07D6A013-47CB-435C-B595-DD7DB616A098>
