In ArcGIS Pro, we support moving vertices while sketching. So, as you are sketching a new feature, if a vertex needs to be moved, you can simply hover over it and move it or delete. As a result, it can make closing the sketch more challenging. One option for us is to increase the hover time before a vertex becomes editable. Anyway, we will review how to improve this while still retaining this functionality. In the meantime, a workaround is to take advantage of this functionality. 1. Start sketching the line 2. Place the final vertex somewhere near the first vertex 3. Hover over this final vertex and wait for cursor to change 4. Move and snap the final vertex to the first vertex 5. Apply the edit operation by clicking Finish on Edit Toolbar or clicking F2

ctrl+c and ctrl+v are working to copy and paste features within a single feature layer. At this time we do not support these shortcut keys to paste to a different layer. As with copy/paste from the ribbon, the map will need to have focus.

In Pro, we added functionality to fail the edit if the value is outside of the domain. If you need to set the attribute to an invalid domain value, rather than adding the value to the domain, you can use Calculate Field from the Attribute table.

Andrew, What else is in the geodatabase? Any networks, or relationships or ? If you export the feature class to a brand new file gdb, is it editable? If not, could you open an incident with tech support so we can take a look at the data? Thanks, Jennifer

In the List By Editing view of the Contents pane, hover over the red exclamation mark. The screentip will report why the layer is not editable. Can you check and let me know?

Andy, I am not sure why your results don't align. We can look into the issue if you can provide info about your data and project. In the meantime, an easy way to clean it up gaps and overlaps is to go to the Edit tab and choose Map Topology from the Topology dropdown. Then from Modify Features pane, choose Align Edges. Simply click the edge you want to align. Align a topology edge—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop

Dave, There is an auto-save for data edits in the Editing Options. It will not save changes made to the project, e.g. adding a definition query. Go to the backstage Choose Options Find Editing category Within the Session group is an option to auto save by time or number of edit operations.

John, Starting with Pro 2.3, you can use the "T" shortcut key to show vertices while sketching. For your second question, the spacebar will suspend snapping while tracing as well as when using other editing tools. The exception is freehand. For the freehand construction tool, the spacebar will initiate snapping. Space bar to suspend snapping is available in earlier releases of Pro. Thanks for the question. -Jennifer

This is planned for Pro 2.3. We are still finalizing the shortcut key to use since V is no longer available.

You mention two pieces of missing functionality. 1. Split/Reshape with Freehand. Streaming mode is planned for the 2.3 release. Replace Sketch is planned for 2.3 as well. 2. Delete multiple vertices while editing the sketch. Mid-sketch, such as creating a new line, you can delete/move vertices without committing the sketch and switching to edit vertices. Hover over the vertex and choose Delete from context menu or pick it up and move it. It will be tedious if there are many but it is possible. This has been in Pro since 1.0 and is not available in ArcMap; I am not familiar with how you were accomplishing this in ArcMap.
