In Pro this is accomplished via a GP tool called 'Make Route Event Layer' Go to Analysis tab, choose Tools then search on 'Route' (or similar) to find this and related GP tools.

I am testing editing of dates in the Attributes pane and the Feature Template Active Template pane in ArcGIS Pro 2.5. When tabbing through the Attribute grid, click either the up or down arrow on keyboard to set a date field to the current date and time, and then click Enter key to apply. Hopefully this helps. -Jennifer

Thank you for sharing the video. I would like to emphasize, as you do in the video, that Map view focus is key when copying/pasting features. Because editing shares the clipboard with all of Pro (e.g. copying and pasting layers), focus matters. Regarding shortcut keys from an earlier comment, CTRL+ALT+V is working for Paste Special at 2.5. Whether using the Map or Edit tab, or Shortcut keys (CTRL+C, CTRL+V, CTRL+ALT+V) the map view needs to have focus for copying and pasting features. Map view has focus when the map view tab is dark blue.

Hi Justin, This is by design. Whenever you apply a geometry edit, e.g. move an annotation feature with the Anno edit tool and hit F2 or apply on the edit toolbar, the feature will exit the tool's mode. This is by design and applicable to all edit tools, not just Annotation edit tool. At 2.5, we added an enhancement to apply in progress geometry edits when an attribute is changed. Prior to 2.5, in progress geometry edits were discarded with an attribute change. Thanks, Jennifer

Follow Feature options for curved and straight are now available in Pro 2.5. You can access the options dialog when the Follow Feature Construction tool is active by right clicking and choosing Options or using the 'O' shortcut key.

With the Edit Vertices tool, you will be able to modify the parts of a multi-part annotation- including rotation and changing segment types. Additional multi-part editing capabilities in the Annotation edit tool are not yet available.

Hi Heather, Can you try these steps and let me know if they address your requirement for adding the geometry? 1. Open the Attribute Table for the layer with the unplaced features 2. Select one of rows for an unplaced feature 3. From edit tab, choose Modify to open the Modify Features pane 4. Choose Replace Geometry--> sketch the feature geometry and hit F2 to finish 5. Repeat for another feature by changing the selection in the table For the attributes, you can Copy and paste attributes for selected features and records from the Attribute pane Transfer attributes from one feature to another using the Transfer Attributes tool on the Modify Features pane Thanks, Jennifer

After updating the attribute in the table, are you hitting the enter key or otherwise activating a different record before creating another point feature?

In ArcGIS Pro, we support moving vertices while sketching. So, as you are sketching a new feature, if a vertex needs to be moved, you can simply hover over it and move it or delete. As a result, it can make closing the sketch more challenging. One option for us is to increase the hover time before a vertex becomes editable. Anyway, we will review how to improve this while still retaining this functionality. In the meantime, a workaround is to take advantage of this functionality. 1. Start sketching the line 2. Place the final vertex somewhere near the first vertex 3. Hover over this final vertex and wait for cursor to change 4. Move and snap the final vertex to the first vertex 5. Apply the edit operation by clicking Finish on Edit Toolbar or clicking F2

ctrl+c and ctrl+v are working to copy and paste features within a single feature layer. At this time we do not support these shortcut keys to paste to a different layer. As with copy/paste from the ribbon, the map will need to have focus.
