Hi Paul, Actually I talked to the team and the layer type I was talking about SHOULD BE fully supported in Pro 1.1 beta. So if you have a case that is not working still (not the offset thing - that we have a fix for) please submit it with a repro case to tech support so it can go to the appropriate team for triage ASAP. Regards, Jeremy W.

Paul, I investigated the issue with your basemap drawing improperly and found that it was only reproducible on some machines, which lead us to a probable cause in the graphics engine. I've assigned the defect to the responsible developer on my team, and we're working on a fix to be included in Pro 1.1 final. FYI, the other issue of the basemaps not displaying at all in pro may be due to them using an as-yet-unsupported-in-pro layer type. Unfortunately no UI warnings exist to warn you of this lack of support. I'll confirm this with the responsible team here and check with them as to ETA of support for this layer type. Regards, Jeremy W.

Paul, I also tested by adding the indicated service to the basemap gallery for my org. That works fine too, no shift. Can you give us more information about the shift or projection issues you're seeing, or perhaps a screenshot indicating the nature of the anomalies? Thanks! Regards, Jeremy W.

Paul, I added your example layer manually to and I'm not seeing any shift (see screenshot below). How much shift are you seeing? Regards , Jeremy W.

Yovav, Sorry, I'm out of my depths here - my team works on the graphics engine, not the UI. This issue appears to be the UI not functioning as designed. FYI I've forwarded your information to the team responsible for this UI. I've asked them to reply here with any suggestions. Regards, Jeremy W.

Yovav, OK, trying to figure this out. I've seen some issues when changing these options and an invalid option has been selected on another tab (for instance, add an empty Elevation Surface) - then whatever you changed doesn't take effect, because it was committed with an invalid property change (ugh). So if you just 1) hit New Global Scene 2. Go to elevation properties 3. turn on shadows, hit OK. this doesn't take effect? What if you instead do new blank project, then go to Insert tab and hit New ->Scene?

as far as I'm aware, editing custom coordinate systems is not yet implemented in the current release of ArcGIS Pro.

Yovav, I just tried on my machine with the 1.0 final build and I was able to change the illumination settings and have them stick... Is this for EVERY project or just one or two? For instance if you just click on "New Global Scene.aptx" and then go to this menu and try to change it, can you see it stick? Regards, Jeremy W.

What resolution is your elevation source, and in what spatial ref? Also, are you using a Global Scene or a "Local" (fishtank) scene? Also - have you contacted technical support?

The display cache settings have to with visualization only, they don't control anything to do with GDB schema not showing up. However since the UI is essentially "accelerated" (uses WPF, which uses desktop compositing, etc) your best first step would be to update your graphics chipset driver from the manufacturer's website (NOT from windows update). Hopefully this might fix any weird UI refresh issues you've got. Give it a shot, and give Support a call if you're still having issues.

Shaun, I just tried this locally. Once I added the Bing key, any new Pro client who logged in to the org saw the Bing basemap.

janice, 1. Make sure you're sending in the error reports from Pro. 2. Update your graphics card driver to the latest from the manufacturer, NOT from windows update. 3. Try switching from DirectX to OpenGL if you're still seeing the problem after a driver update. 3. Contact Esri Technical support for interactive assistance with the problem at any time. Regards, Jeremy W.

Shaun, Pro will show you the list of basemaps that are configured in the organization/portal you're logged in to. Ask your org administrator to add the Bing basemaps to your org, and you should see them as an option in Pro. Regards, Jeremy W.

Brig, sounds like you want to do attribute-driven size, and use "real world sizes". The former is available from symbology properties pane, the latter is available from the Display tab in layer properties.
