Probably a lot of ways to do this...the first off the top of my head would be performing a spatial query (parcels adjacent to routes) and create a layer from the selected features. Use the new layer to do the labeling.

Ola, Did you match up the ID number field from the hosted layer with the correct field containing the same ID in your table? This is done on the Add data dialog...click Confirm location columns and use the drop-down to select the correct field.

It doesn't exist (as far as I know) if you are working with vector data...just goes against the structure of the data model. There is a Raster Painting option in ArcMap that you might take a look at and see if you can use it in conjunction with the output of an image classification. I feel your pain...I have digitized large forested areas for several custom maps I have created in the past.

Jeremy, Not sure exactly if it fits your need but ArcMap does have the ability to do an interactive clip while editing. Start your editing session Select the features you want to clip out of your polygon Slick the Editor button on the Edit tool bar Select Clip from the list Choose Discard the area that intersects on the Clip dialog And then the result

Kevin, I would run the check geometry on the point layer to make sure there are no Null features or other funky things going on (I have seen this same error with bad geometry in a layer). If there are no geometry errors take a look at the attribute fields and ensure that there are not space, ect... Kyle

Looks like the Shape_Length (and other geometry fields) are not published with a feature service...work around would be adding a new field to the attribute table in ArcMap and store the length in that field which will then be accessible in ArcGIS Online. A little more information regarding the issue would be helpful...how are you publishing the data (from ArcMap, Shapefile, CSV, ect...)? It is possible the field is simply turned off for viewing in the pop-up and/or table. Kyle

Trent, If you have an Advanced or Standard desktop license check out this thread: Edit an ArcGIS Online Feature Service from ArcMap Otherwise follow these steps: Make changes to the original shapefile at the Desktop level Re-zip the shapefile (use the same name your originally used to publish) Return to the item detail page for the Hosted Feature Layer and select the Overwrite button. Select the updated zipped shapefile and it will update the Hosted Feature Layer. Note that this will work as long as the attribute fields in the shapefile are the same as that of the hosted feature layer. Also note that this process will overwrite any edits made to the layer in ArcGIS Online. If you did in fact edit the layer in ArcGIS Online and you do not want to lose that information let me know as there are several additional steps you would need to perform prior to doing the Overwrite process. Finally, I would suggest that you test this process before applying it to your "live" data. Check out the section "Overwrite hosted feature layers" Manage hosted web layers—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS Kyle

Sarah, Here is a previous thread that shows the steps required to setup up a Group to allow all members to edit/update items in that group. "Share" Web Map Application (Story Map) for Editing And Rebecca's suggestion is right on regarding Inviting Users...additionally, you want to ensure that the users you are inviting have their ArcGIS Online profile configured to allow everyone (the public) to view otherwise they will not show up in the Invite Users dialog. Rickey I assume you have editor tracking enabled on your feature class(es), if not that will be your first step. Then add a new field (long int) to your feature class to store the elapsed time. You should then be able to use the DateDiff VB function (I assume there is a Python function as well just not sure what it is called). Once calculated use the new field to label your features. The DateDiff will allow you to compare time elapsed from the created_date to the last_edited_date with the interval of your choosing (see the link below on the DateDiff syntax). VBScript DateDiff Function Best of luck, Kyle

Ana Follow the steps below Create a new Group and check the box next to "Members can update all items in this group". Add/Invite the members to your group who you would like to be able to update your Story Map. Go to My Content and check the box next to your Story Map application item > select Share > Access and update capabilities. Choose the group your created in the first step and click Ok. All members of the group should now be able to update the application. Kyle

Kerry, I have experienced the same issue a few times with no rhyme or reason...try using Chrome in Incognito mode. This has proven to be successful in the past...funny thing is the problem does not persist as I have come back to an item that was previously a problem and the Export option is available again. Kyle
