Longitude first (x coordinate value) then a comma and then the latitude (y coordinate value). I used your coordinate pair following that standard and it worked (see the image).

What about the option to enter the X,Y in the Find address or place? That seems to be the easiest solution given your description of the technical acumen of your users It is also likely much faster the poking around on the map to find their location.

Jennifer You may consider the Story Map Tour instead of the tabbed? It supports all of the questions you mentioned (zoom, geotagged photos, Flickr). Story Map Tour | Story Maps If you wanted them all together you create five separate tours and then embed each in a tab in the Story Map Series. Kyle

Clark, You can zoom/center a map in a Web AppBuilder application using x,y coordinates.. Just add ¢er=x,y to the end of the URL for the application. Use URL parameters—Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS | ArcGIS You can also enter an X,Y coordinate pair into the Find address or place search box to do the same as above. And another option, use the GeoLookup widget (currently in Beta) to drag a CSV containing the lat/long onto the application and plot the points. Found the answer to my own question in case anyone was interested...when you create a hosted feature layer from a CSV containing addresses you are given the option to go through a review process similar to that in desktop. Review addresses—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS

The functionality of that app will only work with a polygon layer, however you are on the right track with buffering your points.

Hani Right click on the feature service in the ArcMap table of contents and select Edit Features > Create Local Copy for Editing. Complete your edits as normal. When you are finished editing make sure you save your edits and stop your edit session. Right click on the feature service in the ArcMap table of contents again and select Edit Features > Synchronize Local Edits with Server. Note that this does require a Standard or Advanced desktop license. Best, Kyle

Brian, I do not believe you can do this in a web map but you can using the Information Lookup app template. Here is an example I have setup that will return information about polling locations depending on where you click on the map but does not show the actual boundary. Hope this helps. http://arcg.is/1XiBCq4 Best, Kyle

Herb, Do you need the field to update automatically? When the line is split the Shape_Length field will automatically update (it will be in the meters or feet depending on your projection).
