An alternative solution would be the Add Geometry Attributes geoprocessing tool. http://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/latest/tools/data-management-toolbox/add-geometry-attributes.htm

You need to use the URL to the actual image not the direct link. Below is the HTML reference to your image, you need to use just the portion in red: <a href="https://imgbb.com/"><img src="https://i.ibb.co/QKw8g73/Outfall-All-Other.png" alt="Outfall-All-Other" border="0" /></a> Kyle

Kory I did have two layers with the same name in the map. Once I removed one of the layers the selection set was honored! Thanks

I am performing the Field Calculation against a hosted feature service (hence using the SQL expression type). When I select one or more records and perform the calculation it updates all records in the table not just the selected records. I just added the hosted feature layer to a new map in Pro and the selection set was honored. Odd issue indeed...seems as though the layer in the map had an issue/corruption?

After additional testing I have found that this issue also occurs when using the Python 3 expression type and leads me to believe this is a bug (and a significant one at that).

It appears that the Calculate Field tool when using the SQL expression type in ArcGIS Pro 2.3.1 does not honor a selection set. Is this functionality not supported or this a bug? I could not find any mention of this in the ArcGIS Pro help.

Joel, You may consider rebuilding the spatial index for the hosted feature layer...this options can be found on the Settings tab of the item details page. Best, Kyle

Matt You can work with hosted feature layers in ArcGIS Pro including the ability to select multiple records (interactive selection or select by attributes) and delete those records. Best, Kyle

Rupert Essinger and Alison Sizer Rupert, I am in the process of moving the Missoula Children's Poetry Map that Ken Wall and I meet with you about in July to the final resting place on the School District ArcGIS Online site. However I am running into the same audio issue as described above (audio was working in the version published prior to the June update). Does this audio bug also occur in the Shortlist app? And is there really no working around or solution until September? Kyle Balke

Andrew, When I create a pivot table it automatically shows up as an option when Adding Data. According to the Maps for Office Help there are a few things that would prevent a pivot table from being used in a map: "PivotTables are a special type of table in Excel that are used to summarize and analyze data. When adding data, ArcGIS Maps for Office automatically detects pivot tables for use in the Add data wizard and includes them if appropriate. A pivot table will not be added to the Add data wizard if it contains an unsupported data type, has a hierarchy, or has more than one row label."

Alicia, Hover your mouse over the three vertical dots until you see the cursor change to a four way arrow, now hold down your left mouse button and drag the item down to the Other grouping. Repeat for the other labels as needed. Best, Kyle

Brian, I would suggest looking at the out-of-the-box District Lookup widget in Web AppBuilder...I believe this mirrors the functionality in the Information Lookup app template. District Lookup widget—Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS | ArcGIS "The District Lookup widget allows you to find a point feature related to a selected polygon, view detailed information about the features, and get directions to the selected point feature. The structure of the layers requires a relationship between a point feature and a polygon feature and must be a one-to-one geodatabase relationship."
