The model worked for me as-is also, my only suggestion in addition to those by Zachary is to make the Name variable a precondition to the Int tool.

No. If the content is set to be shared with the Organization only named users within that Organization can access the content. You would need to make these items public to allow access without a username/password. Best

James, You cannot change the style for a tile layer (a tile layer by definition is a set of predefined images)...assuming you created the tile layer directly in ArcGIS Online you will need to do the following: Add the original feature layer used to create the tile layer to the web map Modify the style of the feature layer Click the More options next to the layer name in the web map Contents section and choose Save layer Return to the item details page for the feature layer and Publish If you originally published the tile layer from ArcMap return to your MXD, change the style and re-publish to ArcGIS Online as a tile layer. Darren is correct, you need to use inline variable substitution in the output name of your final raster. The output name of your raster should look like the following: C:\globeland30\rasters4_work2.gdb\%Name% The %Name% part will use the name of each input raster to your iterator as the output file name. Hope that make sense. Kyle

Judi So georectification is the process of taking an image or in your case a historical map and aligning it in a map of the same area. This process is performed in ArcMap where you are matching known points (street intersections are commonly used) between the image and your data in ArcMap. The image is then rectified or correctly positioned on the map allowing you to mashup it up with other data or basemaps. Here is the link to the section on georectification in the ArcMap Desktop Help ArcGIS Help (10.2, 10.2.1, and 10.2.2) One way to tell if your image is already georectified is to add it to ArcMap (via add data assuming it is an image file) and then adding a Basemap. If the image lines up with the Basemap you are ready to publish it as a tile layer. If it does not line up you will need to go through the process outlined above. Let me know if you have any other questions. Best, Kyle

If you have a georectified image you can simply published it as a Tile Layer to ArcGIS Online and then add it to a web map being used in the Tabbed Series Story Map. Kyle

Shawna, Via ArcGIS Online Help documentation: Restrict editing of public layers Sometimes, you need to make a hosted feature layer available to the public for viewing, but you only want a few members of your organization to edit it. If you enabled editing on a public hosted feature layer, anyone could edit it. Instead, share the hosted feature layer with a group that an Esri-defined Administrator created and configured to allow editing of all contents. Add or invite organization members to this group who you want to edit items. All items shared to this group can be updated by group members, including hosted feature layers that do not have editing enabled. When members need to edit the hosted feature layer, they open the hosted feature layer's details and click Open > Add layer to new map with editing enabled.

Mary My current work around is to create a new Date/Time field and then add one day to my original Date field using the Field Calculator: DateAdd ("d",1, [DATE] ) Therefore my original date of 5/20/2000 becomes 5/21/2000 in the newly calculated field. I then publish to ArcGIS Online and my new Date field is correct since I have accounted for the date being dropped by one day. Hope this makes sense. Here is the VB reference for the DateAdd function: Understanding VB6's DateAdd function | Visual Basic 6 (VB6) Best, Kyle

I think Ina is probably on the right track...however I would flip it on end and have the AGO Administrator setup each group, one for each student, and add the instructor and respective student. There is no need to accept the invitation for either party (teacher or student) since there is an option to automatically add a person(s) to a group. If you need to do this for multiple classes or have a large number of students I would highly recommend looking into the GeoJobe Admin Tools for ArcGIS Online. This tool allows you to do some batch processing and administration of users, groups, ect... for AGO using CSV's. Best, Kyle

Several fields in my Pivot Table do not appear as columns when attempting to add to a map. I have generated a Pivot Table of 250 records to summarize on State Name and a category field. The Pivot Table itself is working however when I attempt to map the the data by State I am only seeing the Count of CATEGORY and STATE_NAME as columns. If I copy the contents of the Pivot Table to a new worksheet and add to a map I see all of the columns (Cove, Creek, Draw, ect...). Any ideas? The sparse documentation and videos indicate that the full Pivot Table and all columns should be accessible. Kyle
