Yes, exactly what I'm seeing too. I was indeed referring to the 2.0 version. Thank you for the direct comparison.

Good info, thank you both. I am hoping to be able to identify Portal items that use branch versioning and their owners. Since branch versioning requires as Advanced Editor license, and those are limited in our Portal, I'm thinking we will need to verify that a user with that license actually needs it. One way to do that might be to look at the items they own or have access to and see if any of them use brach versioning. In the scenario of using ArcGIS Manager to look at individual services' capabilities --- how could we at a minimum identify the owner of the service? I know how to look at a Portal item and find out what AGS service it is using, but how to you look at an AGS service and know which item it is tied to in Portal?

Can the route graphic be floor aware in the mobile app? I see that when I ask for directions from one point to another the route is drawn in a single line symbol even if the route changes floors. And the route remains visible when you change floors, so it may look like the route is going through forbidden spaces because it is displaying on a floor that it doens't even traverse.

As an ArcGIS Enterprise Administrator, I would like to be able to list out or otherwise identify all of the layers in my organization that are using branch versioning. Is there a property in the Portal items that reveals if an item is connected to a branch versioned data source?

I'm marking your answer as a solution. Still no word from our SCCM people as to if it will work for us or not, but it is valid answer. Thanks!

Ooh, good find! We install ArcPro on user machines via Microsoft SCCM. Any idea if that is considered a silent install?

Our organization is intersted in managing some default settings for our users so everyone can have same starting point. One of the things we woudl liek to set for the user is the Portal connections to our ArcGIS Online organization and our on-prem ArcGIS Enterprise Portals. We've looked closely at the Manage application settings—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation but haven't found anything about setting the Portal connection URLs. Is there a way to do this? If not, are there any less than ideal alternatives? For example, can we provide Portal connections in a custom Project Template?

You mention that you would like the user to be able to view the map and query the map service, so disabling "Data & Query" would prevent that second part. If you only required the ability to use an Identify, then you could potentially disable the "Data" capability which would then prevent people from collecting the data via queries. https://enterprise.arcgis.com/en/server/11.3/publish-services/linux/edit-map-service-settings.htm

You can, but it takes some special configurations. It is documented here in the section called "Use an Esri basemap offline" Take web maps offline—Portal for ArcGIS | Documentation for ArcGIS Enterprise They key is that you must manually create an item "from URL" in Enterprise, connect to the AGO URL for the basemap, and then provide and store credentials to AGO using a built-in account. Share the new item to a group or your Org. Then, users of Enterprise will be able to connect to the AGO item using the credentials that you stored. They must be logged into Enterprise, no anonymous access allowed.

If you are using Azure AD (Entra) via SAML, this will be a setting in the application registration item in Azure. You, or your Azure admin, can choose what to send in the SAML assertion, which will include group membership information. I think it defaults to just security groups but you can tell it to include distribution groups too.
