We are seeing this same error message, but running SDE 9.3.1 and using 10.1 SP1 client. The error does not appear in 10.0 client or 9.3.1 client. So that begs the question, is this an SDE issue or a desktop issue? This is a Desktop/Client issue.

Jake, If you can reproduce this on personal and SDE; it's probably easiest to supply a personal geodatabase, along with your model. Contact Technical Support and mention that you can reproduce these issues on both types. Once you have the incident number, please post it here, I'll follow the issue. thanks,

Greg, Not sure what happened with the last link; sorry for providing the wrong one. This the correct link: http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/index.html#/Identifying_geometric_network_build_errors/002r0000000z000000/ And here is the list of error codes: 11 - The feature's geometry has multiple parts. 16 - The junction is not connected to any other edge feature. Here's the link to directions on correcting error code 11: http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/index.html#/Repairing_features_with_multipart_geometry/002r0000001z000000/ Here's the link to directions on correcting error code 16: http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/index.html#/Correcting_standalone_junctions/002r0000004s000000/

Craig, I use version 10.0. I find the solution: arcpy.describe("feature class name").DSID Thanks, Aleksandar At 10.1, we also added a button next to the feature class name to display it's ID to make this easier to access.

Aleksandar, There is a command on the Geometric Network Editing toolbar called Network Build Errors, it will read the table and select all the features listed in it. If you want to do this yourself, what release of ArcGIS are you using?

I am getting this error now, did you find a solution for this? This error could be due to a number of things, the best way to track down these types of errors is to work with Technical Support on this issue so they can attempt to reproduce the issue. If this is due to a bug, they'll submit the issue to Development so we can evaluate it. Knowing what release and Service Pack you're using to Reconcile is also important, as we fix issues with Reconcile at Service Packs and releases.

I started it on a new server and am simply recreating the databases and importing in all of the feature classes. Chris, can you outline the exact steps you were using when you were "importing in all the feature classes"? thanks,

Yes, this is permissible and possible. Your screenshot of the Rules tab looks incorrect though; the origin and destination table or feature class should be listed in the dialogs on the left hand side. This would allow you to select/check them so that you can define cardinality. How were these feature classes created? Can you attach a zipped up personal or file geodatabase with the feature classes so we can take a look?

You seem to be running into an issue with Upgrade, I have not seen those errors before. The best way to track this down is to work with Technical Support, I suggest you contact them so you can get this issue looked at. If they determine it is a bug, it will be sent to the Development team to evaluate and fix.
