Nate, this sounds like a bug with Attribute Domains of type Float.  I don't think it has anything to do with the geometric network.  The best way to handle this is to get a tech support incident logged so they can look at the issue. Nate, You should not have to recreate your geometric network when moving to 10.0.  Note that this issue probably has nothing to do with your geometric network, validate works on the feature classes, not the network in this type of scenario. Can you extract out a subset of the data to a file or personal geodatabase and reproduce the issue?  You can use the Extract Data command on the Distributed Geodatabase toolbar to do this.  If so, can you attach it to the thread? ... I recall being able to copy layers in one GDB, and then paste, and in the data transfer dialog being able to change the names, currently, that functionality is not working as I recall. No the domain is not associated with the field. the field type is long and the domain field type is entier long When i verify the list of coded value domain in the database with the tool 'Domain Sort' the domain appear. In order for the domain to appear in ArcMap, it needs to be associated with the field. Can you try manually associating the domain with the field in ArcCatalog and test if that allows you to see the domain dropdown in ArcMap? ... View more

Ted, This information is located on the General tab for the Feature Class dialog under the Geometry section. Adding it to the Feature Dataset is not really possible; since Feature Datasets do not have a geometry storage type themselves and it is possible that feature classes contained within a feature dataset can have different storage types. ...
