Hi JP, We have gotten reports on a few issues with the v1.1 update; however, we haven't heard of issues similar to ones you are reporting. I've tried to reproduce the issues but haven't been able to. Can you add invite me to your organization (you can use the named user 'craig_sp') so I can take a look at the project you're having issues with? If I can't find anything, we'll figure out how to proceed. Craig

Hi Colin, thanks for posting your question. I'm assuming your problem logging in is because your Organization is set to use https but you were using the http protocol. Workforce supports https at 1.1 and therefore if your Organization is enabled for https support you will need to use that over http. With regards to not seeing any of your workers; we have gotten a report related to this. Do you have any Workers in your project that are pointing to named users who have been removed from the Organization? Craig

Raul, yes, you can use ArcGIS Pro to load data from a csv file (or other format) into any feature service. Without knowing what format the location/address is for the csv, I'll provide a rough overview: - Create a feature class for the csv file - Using any of the data loading tools; you could use the Append GP tool for example, load the contents of the feature class into the Assignments feature service. - You'll need to properly field map your feature class to the Assignments feature service; here's a link to our doc which explains the Workforce schema --> Workforce schema—Workforce for ArcGIS | ArcGIS - You'll want to focus on the section "Create an assignment through the REST API"; this explains the fields that must be populated for assignment to be created properly. I'd suggest testing it out with a subset of your csv first to work through any issues. If you have questions on this, feel free to post them. Craig

Hello Carl, thanks for your question on Workforce. The ability to turn layers on/off and to switch basemaps is in our backlog for Workforce and we do plan to support it at a release in 2017. Craig

Sum of the offline discussion on this issue. The named user was a Dispatcher and not a Worker in the project being opened using Workforce (Android) mobile. Dispatchers do not have access to the project through the mobile app. Once Timo added the user as a Worker to the project, the Worker was able to open the project. We'll be improving the message displayed to the user when they attempt to open a project to which they do not have the proper permissions. Craig

Hi Timo, Ok, at this point, I think the best way to approach this is to take a look at the project. Can you invite me to your organization and share the group with me? thanks,

Hello, This is a known issue on Workforce (Android); we're implementing support for App Integration, but at this time, Collector (Android) does not support a URL scheme which is why the option to open Collector from Workforce is missing on Android. We're working on adding this support for our 1.0 release for Workforce (Android). Craig

Yes, that's what I was thinking. A few other sites have followed a similar workflow with success.

Tom, We do not provide the ability to customize the Create Assignment page, on the specific requests: 1. We are looking at providing this capability once other work is completed within ArcGIS platform. 2. There's a few ways you can do this; one idea is to use a Python script to parse out the pieces of the form that are needed to construct the URL scheme for Survey123 and include it in the Description. This can all be done through Python. You can use this post from the Survey123 team to help understand the URL scheme; https://community.esri.com/groups/survey123/blog/2016/07/30/understanding-survey123s-custom-url-scheme . We do plan on improving our App Integration support in future releases to provide the ability to pass more information between Workforce and Survey123. Craig

Thomas, good news that using the World Geocoder works. No, I don't believe there is anything you can do to your geocoder, the issue is with Workforce and how we're consuming the Geocoder. Can you invite me to you org? I can then take a look at the Geocoder and make sure that it works with our 1.1 release. Craig

Thomas, I believe what you're experiencing is a known issue. We're working on improving the Assignment creation experience when the Workforce web app experiences as issue performing a reverse geocode due to the Locator. These will be in the 1.1 release we're currently working on which should be released in a few weeks. Are you using a custom locator? Can you try setting the Esri World Geocoder as the default geocoder for your organization and try to reproduce the issue? Craig

Hi Caleb, I can repro what you're describing. It has to do with how we're displaying the Assignments and Workers layers within the Workforce web app. One alternative for this is to display the features on top of the Assignments in the Dispatcher web map. You can change the layer ordering the ArcGIS Online map viewer. Craig
