Ali, Yes, this is possible in the 1.0 release of Workforce; here's two docs that go into more detail on this: Migrating Workforce Projects from Beta Configuring App Integrations Workforce allows you to link a web map/survey per project. Hi Kerri, Yes, you can create work orders from Collector data. One way to handle this is through the use of Python; we've published a set of scripts that show how to create new assignments in Workforce for ArcGIS. GitHub - Esri/workforce-scripts: A set of scripts to help administer Workforce projects. I'd recommend having a QA/QC step where you can ensure that the field worker has entered all the correct information to trigger a work order or assignment to be created and that you check for duplicate records. Hi Jaclynn, Thanks for your questions on Workforce. 1) At 1.0, Workforce will only support Hosted feature services. We are working on Portal support for 10.5. 2) Yes, you can automate the creation and assignment of work assignments; we recommend using one of the python scripts that we've created at: GitHub - Esri/workforce-scripts: A set of scripts to help administer Workforce projects. 3) Workforce uses feature services with an open and documented schema; so you can access these feature services to create reports. Ali, Thanks for clarifying on the request to add/remove fields. What we're hearing from users is that; while they first want to add or remove fields from the Assignment feature service and have that reflected in the web and mobile apps; once they realize that they can launch Collector from Workforce; that handles the majority of scenarios where they want to customize or change the Assignments feature service. There definitely are valid use cases for adding fields to the Assignments feature service and have them appear; that's in our backlog for a future release. If you have examples like this, please pass them along so I can add them to our backlog. Ali, Can you provide some more information on why removing the Priority field is a use case? If left empty; it will not appear to field workers. Can you provide some use cases or more information on what additional fields you would like to add? My replies to your 2 other questions We're working on the initial 1.0 release of Workforce within the next week or two. We have a number of updates planned for the first release, including the ability to edit Priority and Due Date/Time in bulk and an improved app integration experience, including the ability to specify a particular web map or survey to be opened when either Collector or Survey123 are launched. Yes, but not out of the box. Workforce uses feature services, so integration with Geoevent Server would be done using the same steps for any other feature service. Craig

Hello Ali, Hello Ali, thanks for your feedback on Workforce. 1. No, at this time it is not possible to change the app design. 2. No, it's not possible to change the fields that are displayed in the web or mobile app. Can you provide some information on why you'd like to change the fields and what you'd like to add or remove? 3. Yes, it will be possible to remove Navigator from the available apps; for the 1.0 release we have an App Integration experience that allows you to configure which ArcGIS app (Navigator, Collector or Survey123) to use with your project. Which other apps are you considering adding? 4. Yes, there's a few ways you can do this. You can use ArcGIS Pro to edit the Assignments feature service in the same way you'd edit any other feature service. You need to make sure that you follow the guidelines for how to create assignments; The Workforce Schema. You can use a script to import assignments into the feature service; we've created several that you can use as a starting point: workforce-scripts Similar questions to were posted to the Workforce Beta forum but included a few additional questions; please let me know if you'd like to continue the discussion there. thanks, Craig

Greg, to clarify, the Copy/Paste functionality that I referred to in the post is the Copy/Paste functionality available through ArcCatalog/Catalog window; not using the copy/paste commands in the Editor.

Are you suggesting possibly taking the sparse region, moving it to a separate instance. Building a network with a course-grained snapping tolerance. Then drop the network and move it back into the full database and create a new network with a fine-grained tolerance? Yes. That's how other sites have handled this type of situation.

Ed, Geometric network snapping cannot be applied by region. If you are using ArcGIS 10.0 or later; it does use the same code as the Topology Validate process. One way to solve this issue is to have you data stored in separate geodatabases or feature datasets based on regions and then create a Topology on each applying the cluster tolerance for that specific region. Tim et al, To clarify this issue; it has nothing to do with Topology, as was alluded to earlier in the thread. The issue is due to an error when writing layer extents to the new geodatabase schema. All sites that have reported this issue have resolved it using some variation of the steps that Tim used in the previous post. We'd like to get a reproducible case for this so we can track down the issue and correct it in the core software. What version of ArcGIS are you using? Can you describe the target feature class you're trying to load data into? Is it in a Topology, Geometric Network or other advanced dataset? Does it have relationship classes, if so what kind? thanks,

We are seeing this same error message, but running SDE 9.3.1 and using 10.1 SP1 client. The error does not appear in 10.0 client or 9.3.1 client. So that begs the question, is this an SDE issue or a desktop issue? This is a Desktop/Client issue.

Jake, If you can reproduce this on personal and SDE; it's probably easiest to supply a personal geodatabase, along with your model. Contact Technical Support and mention that you can reproduce these issues on both types. Once you have the incident number, please post it here, I'll follow the issue. thanks,
