Hi Alison, Customers using the compiled add-ins looking to update to the newest version should get the update from our ArcGIS Solutions Site. Below are a few short links to our more popular solutions using the add-ins: Address Data Management | ArcGIS for Local Government Water Utility Network Editing | ArcGIS for Utilities Capital Improvement Planning | ArcGIS for Utilities However, if you are a developer and you are looking to use the July Release as a base for further development and customization then you can access the add-ins on GitHub here: Release July2015Release · Esri/local-government-desktop-addins · GitHub (the is just the source code and the add-ins are not compiled). Also, if you are interested in the changes to the Attribute Assistant then, check out the "What's New" documentation Attribute Assistant | ArcGIS Solutions -Lindsay

Hi Nina, The most recent version of the Addins were released as part of the ArcGIS for Local Government "July 2015 Release". The easiest way to check if you have the most up to date version of the add-in's is to look at the "What's New" pages on our Solutions Site here: Address Data Management | ArcGIS for Local Government . This contains all the information on changes that were made to the solutions since the last update. The best way to see if what version you have on your machine is to look at the add-in. To do this, in ArcMap go to the Customize menu > Add-in Manager. Click on the Address Management Tools and you will see the version and the date are set to 6.26.2015. This add-in is part of the July 2015 Release and the most recent. -Lindsay

Hi Charmalee, We actually found this issue today. We've logged the issue and plan on fixing it in a future release. The good news is there is a workaround: The pop-up header is coming from the ArcGIS Online map pop-up title configuration. If you go into your map and update the pop-up configuration in the following way then it should resolve your issue. Update the pop-up title configuration to use Park: {NAME} and you will see the park name in the mobile pop-up. (If you use {NAME} then you will see "N\A" in the mobile pop-up. ) -Lindsay

Hi Rickey, This is a known issue we are currently working on a fix for this. It is happening because of a change in the way the Safari browser at iOS8 handles scrolling in their browser. -Lindsay

Hello, This issue exists in the first version of the Briefing Book application. The next version of Briefing Book (available on June 26th, 2014) will resolves this issue. If you receive the error "Updating of the selected items failed" continuously then the book has become corrupt. However, we can save your book. The workaround is to COPY the book. When you copy the book, the copied version will be created with the name "<your book name> -copy", in the book gallery. Go ahead and open this "copied" version and you will be able to edit and save your book once again. -Lindsay

Hello Antonio, The first version of the Briefing Book does not support enterprise log-ins. However, this will be available in the next release. Our next release is targeted for late June 2014. However, because you were able to login and create a book. It should be working. Are you using the currently released version of Briefing Book? Or are you using a "development" version from GITHUB? Below are somethings you can try if your book exists in your ArcGIS Online Organization but isn't displaying in the Application. -Lindsay Briefing Book Troubleshooting 1. Check your ArcGIS Online Web Mapping Application Item where your book is stored. Look at the URL towards the bottom of the page. Does it have "localhost" in the URL https://localhost/briefingbook/?bookId=91d97b65a174404dbc8aa5da17a2ef26 If it does then please change it to reflect the machine and domain name of the application For Example: https://machinename.domainname.com/briefingbook/?bookId=91d97b65a174404dbc8aa5da17a2ef26 (Accessing and authoring a book with a URL containing localhost like http://localhost/BriefingBook/default.html will create the book but when the application tries to open the book at another time it is unable to locate "localhost") 2.Check your Config.js configuration file, look at the required parameter ConfigSearchTag: 'UniqueSearchTag' . This parameter requires a value, it cannot be left blank and it has to be unique across ArcGIS Online. To get a unique value use something that reflects your organization for example 'CityofSydneyBriefBook' (something no one else will use) If this was blank or the tag wasn't unique then update the tag in the config.js and go to the ArcGIS Online Web Mapping Application Item where your book is stored. Look at the TAGS near the bottom of the page, delete any tags that are not unique. Add the tag that you just added to your config.js. Now that the Book item tag and the config.js tag match your book should load correctly. 3. Check your Config.js configuration file, look at the required parameter PortalURL: "https://ORGNAME.maps.arcgis.com/" . Verify the Portal for ArcGIS or ArcGIS Online Organization Account URL is correct and you can access it in a browser.

Tim, We do not have any plans in the near future to make this enhancement to the application. However, we would love to hear more about this requirement. Could you describe the business need to manually select parcels for a mailing list? We implemented the buffer workflow for parcel selection to meet the business need of being "legally required to notify the public within XX feet of a parcel". Let us know. -Lindsay

Hi Tom, Please try recreating the extent with the Extent Helper here: http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/flex-viewer/helpers/FlexViewer_ExtentHelper.html Sometimes, adjusting the browser size of the extent helper to the shape of the map portion of the application will give a better extent. -Lindsay

Hello Sam, Can you try using this Application URL on the iPhone you are having trouble with and test out if you can submit a comment or not? http://tryitlive.arcgis.com/CitizenServiceRequest/ I cannot reproduce your issue using my iPhone (iOS 7). The UI of the application looks like it has some customization. Is this the out of the box app or a customized version? If it is customized then, it could be something in the custom CSS or mobile related js code. Cheers, Lindsay

Hello, We have updated all of our Editing Maps at 10.1 with a new build of the Local Government Add-ins (including Attribute Assistant) You can get the latest Attribute Assistant add-in from any of the downloads below: Please note: Current 10.1 users should backup the Loaded.config file before updating to the 10.1.1 QIP release. This update includes significant changes to the Add-ins which now share the same configuration file schema as the 10.2 Add-ins. Additional information on the new configuration file can be found in the ArcGIS for Local Government 10.2 Help. New 10.1.1 users are not be affected by changes in the Loaded.config file and can install the latest release. Hello Tom, You can turn off comments by setting visibility to false (see snippet below). CommentsLayer: {
//Set to true if comments need to be displayed , or false if not required
Visibility: false,
//URL used for doing query task on the comments layer
URL: "http://services.arcgis.com/b6gLrKHqgkQb393u/arcgis/rest/services/ParksTryItLive/FeatureServer/1"
}, As for the photos they are "attachments" added to individual the parks features on the data side. The Parks Finder application doesn't have anyway for the public to add photos. However, if you have a "feature access" enabled on your service there is a possibility of someone problematically adding unwanted photos via the REST services . We don't have the ability to turn this off in the configuration file. The app must have attachments enabled on the parks feature class to work.... BUT...because you are disabling comments you don't need "feature access" available for the parks service anymore. So, the workaround for if you are using: -ArcGIS Online Hosted Services is to publish the feature service but disable editing. -ArcGIS for Server Server services is to publish the parks.mxd as a map service (without feature access) and use those services in the app. Instead of a URL like http://yourserver/arcgis/rest/services/Parks/FeatureServer/0
you would use a URL like http://yourserver/arcgis/rest/services/Parks/MapServer/0
in the section of the config.js below //URL used for doing query task on the feature layer
FacilityLayer: "http://yourserver/arcgis/rest/services/Parks/MapServer/0",
//Set the primary key attribute for features
PrimaryKeyForFeatures: "${FACILITYID}", This should configure that application the way you like. And you will still have the ability to add City\County sanctioned park photos in your gallery without giving the public access. -Lindsay
