In reference to "B". Is the "Detailed Site Review Zone" the layer you are searching on in the first image? If you are selecting within the polygon, and the return intersecting polygons is enable then it should appear in the list.

At the July 2016 Release of Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS (and Web AppBuilder Developer Edition 2.1) we added a new option which will support your part of the workflow you mention, specifically showing the results of a polygon(s) within an address or set location. Buffer will not be displayed if polygons are the only feature type in the application. The new parameter is call Return intersecting polygon(s) when this parameter is enabled all polygons returned are those that are intersected instead of buffering the polygon. Hi Delvin, If you aren't using the service http://tasks.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/Geometry/GeometryServer in the config.js " in the configuration then you shouldn't need it. However, if you are using the Esri Geometry Service then it needs to be in the proxy because the application is using the service to do the buffer. -Lindsay

Hi Claire, The four available options for generating the sharing urls are: map point & feature id: ?extent=xmin, ymin, xmax, ymax&addressPoint=x,y&featureID=id map point only: ?extent=xmin, ymin, xmax, ymax&addressPoint=x,y feature id only: ?extent=xmin, ymin, xmax, ymax&featureID=id just the map: ?extent=xmin, ymin, xmax, ymax The app is reverse geocoding the point. If I click on the map and then share the result; the url generated would be: http://<server>/election-polling-places/?extent=-9818737,5124874,-9807472,5129699$addressPoint=-9813673.155940298,5127148.135082349 The extent used in the URL is the current extent of the map at the time the URL is shared and generated. The extent is required to generate all of these URL’s. So, passing just the address point is not possible. The best workaround for generating address points would be to use a zero map extent that maps the addresspoint location for example: For http://tryitlive.arcgis.com/ElectionPollingPlace/?extent=-9813143,5126673,-9813143,5126673$addressPoint=-9813143,5126673 (notice the extent and address are using the same xy’s) I worked with our developer Mike to flush out the details. Hopefully, this can help you with your customization. -Lindsay

Hi Scott, I did some more investigation. I think this is a bug related to how the application is handling stacked polygons (or not handling). For some reason the application, doesn't handle the '0' request on some datasets. We have this on the issue list to fix. We are planning an update to this application in December 2015, and we would like to address this specific issue. We have seen the same error with stacked condo's in some instances. Is the data something you are willing\able to share? (we could do it securely not open to all geonet). That would help us ensure we are supporting your specific data set when we go to fix the application. -Lindsay

Hi Scott, This is really minor adjustment but lets try it. Can you replace https://services6.arcgis.com/f79xZ44vfYtaG5qt/arcgis/rest/ with https://services6.arcgis.com/f79xZ44vfYtaG5qt/ArcGIS/rest/ in the proxy.config (ArcGIS instead of arcgis) Once you make the change please, hit this URL in your browser http://gis.msa-ps.com/publicnotificationoakgrovenew/proxy/proxy.ashx . This will clear you proxy cache (you will see the response {error: {code: BadRequest, message:"No URL specified"}} This is expected. Also, go ahead and clear your browser cache. Restart your browser and try testing it out again. -Lindsay

Hi Scott, I should be more specific. when I search Oak Grove I am getting results. I am not getting results for the parcels with 0. The layer being from somewhere else (other server) shouldn't matter. Is there anything special about the parcel data? -Lindsay

Mike, are you still having this issue? I would advise to install or re-install the report lab package and see if that helps. If not then, let us know. -Lindsay

Hi Claire, You cannot do an address but you can do an address point. For Example: you can pass the application a URL like this http://tryitlive.arcg... To generate a URL with a specific address point in the app: Search for an address (you'll see the result) Go to the share icon, Select Email A Bitly URL is created Click on the Bitly URL and you will see the address you searched for -Lindsay

Hi Scott, Thanks for providing the URL. It should work on your application too. Just a few follow up questions. I see the application was configured using your schema which should work. -Were there any customization's to the code? (if yes, can you outline the changes) -Were there any customization's to the geoprocessing tools? (if yes, can you outline the changes) -What version of ArcGIS Server are you using for the GP and Geometry Services? -Can you provide an example of a community I can search for ? Lindsay

Hi Scott, You can try using our "Try It Live application here: Public Notification" to select individual parcels without a buffer. Thus only selecting parcels not buffering them. To select individual parcels: Click on the parcel you want to select Click the +Add adjacent parcel button Press Ctrl+Map click to select the next parcel (etc, until all parcels are selected) Click on any selected parcel (all parcels are still selected) Click on the evelope icon at the top of the popup Enter 0 as the buffer Select other parameter options you desire Click Download This will give you only the parcels selected. Please let us know if this satisfies your requirements Cheers, Lindsay (Thanks for coming out to the SIG at UC)
