@MichaelKnudson @Anonymous User the Field Maps web app is now included and embedded within ArcGIS Enterprise. The first release of the web app needed to be a stand-alone installer as it shipped after ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1 was released. All updates to the web app moving forward will be included within the next scheduled release of ArcGIS Enterprise. Consider the new functionality available in ArcGIS Online for the April update to be included within ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1.

Hi @Sietse_de_Haan apologies for missing your question. Yes the Field Maps app will replace the Collector app and we will not be developing/releasing any new capabilities within the Collector app. However, if a serious issue is reported while the app is still supported (we plan to stop supporting Collector on Dec 31st 2021) we will fix and provide updates.

Hi Jake, Yes, we will no longer support Workforce Classic effective Dec 31st, 2021. If you are using Classic today, please consider migrating your workflows to the latest release of Workforce this year. Migrating will set you up for the inclusion of Workforce in ArcGIS Field Maps which is slated to start development late this year.

Hey @DavidLitke - that's correct. We don't support "nested collection" at this time. Its a feature that we have in our backlog but I don't think we will be able to address soon. Something to consider trying - submit the line feature and then select and edit it after capturing point(s). The endpoint of the line will be highlighted and you can then extend/continue the line. Its not idea, lots of extra taps, but it might be a workaround you can use for lines. Note that won't work with polygons.

You may want to look at Survey123 and the concept of a "public survey" - essentially sharing the survey with everyone. I think it is the only Esri app that supports anonymous, offline data collection as far as I am aware. With that said, it would be useful to understand why you'd prefer to go down this path. I wouldn't recommend anonymous, public editing of datasets, even though it is possible, as it is quite easy for data integrity to be compromised. If the reason is cost, it would be good to communicate this with your account manager to see if you can come to an agreement on price. If it is the complexity of account management (mobile or within organization), this would be valuable for us to understand within development as well. Thanks!

@ZacharyHart - not sure if you have had a chance to look at Field Maps yet but we did add bearing/distance to the compass. It shows up on the sliding panel on your phone. I'd be interested in hearing more about how you use the compass in your workflows. I have looked at the Navigation functionality in Avenza and there seem to be 4 navigation methods: 1. Project Destination 2. Navigate to Feature 3. Enter Coordinates 4. Create a Route. With Field Maps, you can navigate to a feature, a place on the map (from a long press) or by coordinate (search for a coordinate and then from the result navigate to it - perhaps a bit hidden). How do you use Create a Route? Seems like it may be a "stake out" workflow - something we are considering for data collection. Would love to gather more information on this from you and others on this. Also would be interested to hear if supporting a view of the navigation would be useful on a peripheral device, like an Apple Watch, so you could keep your head up as you walk. Thanks.

Hi @AdamOlson - unfortunately this is a known limitation with the offline capabilities today. It would be great if you could publish this to the ArcGIS Ideas site (for Field Maps) as well so that it can be upvoted by others. Thanks!

Hi @LisaT - did you get this sorted out? If not, please let us know or contact technical support. The switch to https should not have impacted labeling in Collector so we would like to diagnose what other changes may have caused this to occur. If you solved it, please post back so others can benefit from your wisdom :). Thanks!

Hi @MitchellOrchard - following up late here and I am guessing that you have found your answer already. However, I thought I would mention that calculating values from a scanned QR code or barcode is not yet supported. With ArcGIS Field Maps and the introduction of smart forms, calculating attribute values is on our roadmap. If you are using ArcGIS Server feature services, you could look at replicating the calculation using attribute rules. These rules would be executed when submitted on the server so they won't work offline, yet. Support for attribute rules in the underlying Runtime SDKs as well as in Field Maps is coming. We are patiently waiting on the plumbing to be built for us so that we can support it in the client app. Hope this helps.

Hi @MonikaSamorajska - sorry this is happening to you. I realize its been some time without a reply. If you are still experiencing issues, I would recommend you submit a support request to have them help you through it. You could try removing the hosted tile imagery layer (the source of your vtpk) to see if the download will work without it. Then you can isolate whether or not that layer has issues that need to be addressed. If you are planning to download a map area using a hosted tile layer, make sure that export tiles are enabled on that layer. Thanks!
