Hi @SteveMcCarthy, I have not seen this behavior. What happens when you refresh the web page - do the charts reload and show all the data? What about the data metrics when the view a component under the Monitoring tab - are those chart showing the same behavior? If not, I suggest you check that Monitor can access and connect to the component you're monitoring. Hope this helps,

Hi @JerrySneary, I haven't worked on ArcGIS Dashboards in 18 months as I moved teams. Sorry, but I'm not the best person to ask. I suggest you post in the ArcGIS Dashboards questions forum to get assistance. Good luck!

Hi @FTayyab82, > I am unable to locate an option to add license manager to monitor License usage. Monitoring license usage is not currently available in ArcGIS Monitor 2023.0. We are currently gathering requirements to enable this feature. EDIT: You can vote for this enhancement here, https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-monitor-ideas/add-more-information-to-license-manager-reporting/idi-p/932091/jump-to/first-unread-message > Also does this version not come with an API that can exposed and consumed by other applications? There is a Monitor REST API, but it is not documented and therefore not really available yet. We have plans to document the API in a future release. Hope this helps,

This capability was implemented in ArcGIS Monitor 2023.0. Incidents allow you to schedule one-time or recurring maintenance windows and annotate unplanned outages for one or more collections in ArcGIS Monitor.

Hi @Fabio_Pires, > Can I integrate ArcGIS Monitor with my active directory using LDAP to authenticate access the same way I can do on Portal/Server? ArcGIS Monitor 2023 only supports built-in logins at the moment. Please submit an enhancement on the ArcGIS Monitor Ideas forum for Monitor to support alternate authentication options to login to Monitor web app. Hope this helps,

Hi @Anonymous User, @ReeseFacendini's post is correct. The add-ins found in the old ArcGIS Monitor gallery do not work with ArcGIS Monitor 2023. He shared a link to a couple of unsupported dev samples available in the ArcGIS Monitor 2023 gallery. Hope this helps,

Hi @Anonymous User, > To monitor these both do we need only one instance of Monitor setup to have components watch both areas or should we the model where you have two monitor instances one to watch portal and another to watch server? Is it possible to have one monitor instance that looks over both portal and server? You can use 1x instance of ArcGIS Monitor 2023 to register and monitor both your enterprise portal and ArcGIS Server site. In fact, 1x - ArcGIS Monitor can monitor multiple enterprise GIS resources (i.e., components). Hope this helps,

Hi @Lorne, > Is it possible to change the password a component uses? This is not possible in ArcGIS Monitor 2023.0, but we are working on resolving this limitation for the next Monitor release (which will be coming soon). > Do you have to unregister the component, and if so will you lose all the data for that component. If you unregister a component, then the data will remain in the ArcGIS Monitor database - but unfortunately, the association(s) for the data will be lost. Sorry. Hope this helps,

Hi @Anonymous User, A1. There is no limit to the number of admin accounts you can have in ArcGIS Monitor. A2. ArcGIS Monitor 2023 does not currently support custom roles. Please submit an enhancement for this capability on the ArcGIS Monitor Ideas forum. Please include what type of capabilities you're looking to enable/disable with the custom role (that is not covered by the current 3 roles types in Monitor: admin, manager, and viewer). A3. No, we don't typically publish a list of future enhancements because when the functionality will be released can change. Typically in Esri UC technical sessions, we will show upcoming features at the end of the sessions. Hope this helps,

Hi @JasonHansel1, > My question surrounds the Monitor Database. Like previous versions, is a standalone database still required or does a lightweight postgres db come with the Product? ArcGIS Monitor 2023 does NOT include postgreSQL. You will need to obtain your own instance of it. It should be easily available at no cost. For future questions, I would ask that you please post in a new, separate email thread. Instead of commenting on this post. Posting a new, seperate email thread will help other users find answers when they use the Search function in Esri Community. Hope this helps,

Hi @SteveMcCarthy, Please try this workflow: 1. Login into ArcGIS Monitor > Monitoring tab 2. Under the Filter folders - select Storage 3. Select the storage device you want to set an alert on - this will display the overview metrics page for the storage device 4. Select the Metrics tab (in the upper right banner) - this will display the different properties of the storage device 5. Click the ellipsis button (the three dots) for the parameter you want to set the alert on, for example "Storage Capacity Used (GB)" > Edit alert rules 6. The Edit Alert Rules dialog should appear for the selected parameter and you should be able to set an alert Hope this helps,
