Hi Brad, After doing some research, the bug NIM063509 was verified fixed in the Silverlight API v2.2 release. However, in the v2.2 release new functionality was added for types/sub-types which also uses coded value domains and a new ??similar? bug got introduced: NIM070962. Both are different issues with almost identical use-cases and this has caused some confusion among the users. Status: both issues are now fixed at v3.0 beta1 and the forthcoming v2.3 release. Hope this helps,

Hi Ovidio, Good to hear from you again, I hope you are well. Are there any new tools to monitor fetch and draw speed in ArcMap? None to my knowledge. However, at 10.1 many new geodatabase administrative tools have been added to ArcCatalog such as: redesigned version manager dialog view and manage privileges on datasets view and remove connections from a GDB view and manage locks in a GDB block new connections to a GDB More detailed info can be found here: What's new for databases and geodatabases in ArcGIS 10.1 (a login is required to access ArcGIS 10.1 resource center beta content) Hope this helps,

Hi Aysberq, I want to create a web application via my custom GIS resources (non internet recources) using ArcGIS Viewer for Flex. I have create a new Map service using ArcGIS Server 10 and I have install ArcGIS API for JavaScript library according to installation instruction. I'm not sure which "installation instruction" you used, but the 2nd statement is incorrect. You DO NOT NEED the ArcGIS API for JavaScript library to use the ArcGIS Viewer for Flex. If you have ArcGIS Server, the ArcGIS Viewer for Flex will work directly with its services. The Viewer is based on the ArcGIS API for Flex, not the JavaScript API. But you don't need to install the Flex API to use the Viewer. Please follow these instructions: Getting started with ArcGIS Viewer for Flex FYI: ArcGIS Viewer for Flex Resource Center Hope this helps,

Hi Andrew, ... What is the best way to integrate, I was looking in ArcGIS resource centre I can see api??s for Silverlight, Javascript and Flex, which one should we choose and why? ... We are happy to do custom development in SharePoint and c#, we need a direction. Please review this Esri 2011 pre-UC Q&A topic: Which API should I use: JavaScript, Flex, or Silverlight? If you plan on doing some custom development for ArcGIS for SharePoint, then you will need to use the ArcGIS API for Silverlight. ... Meanwhile we found ArcObjects (.Net) as well, looks interesting. Can we make use of it? ... I would discourage using the ArcObjects SDK .NET framework for your development work, as it will be deprecated soon with the forthcoming ArcGIS 10.1 release. For more info, Esri KB #38202 - FAQ: What are the deprecation plans for ArcGIS 10 and the upcoming release of ArcGIS 10.1? (look under the ArcGIS Server 10.1 section) Hope this helps,

Hi Barry, I'm unsure if I understand the workflow in your post. You install ArcGIS for SharePoint on a SharePoint site. The web part is added and configured like any other web part on a SharePoint page, which can be accessed within an intranet as long as users have the appropriate permissions to the page. Hope this helps,

Hi John, ArcGIS for SharePoint is a SharePoint solution and I believe it is x86/x64 agnostic. ArcGIS for SharePoint v1.1 installs on SharePoint 2007, which has both x64 and x86 installs available. So I think if you install ArcGIS for SharePoint v1.1 on your SharePoint 2007 site it should work. Hope this helps,
