Hi @ChrisBlakely1, > Any updates on this? We are likewise hoping to use the API. Unfortunately, I don't have an update on when the ArcGIS Monitor API will be available. Sorry. We currently have to work on other higher priority items. Please send me an email: [email protected]. I would be interested in hearing more about your requirements and what you would like to do via the API. Hope this helps,

Hi @GrantSmith122, Apologies for the late reply. I was working at the ERGIS 2025 conference last week in Houston, TX. > Yesterday at 2:30 pm, the component ID was 11050569; this morning at 8:45 am the component ID has now changed to 11716560. How could this possibly be? I have not seen this behavior in ArcGIS Monitor before. Once a component is "registered" with Monitor, it is assigned a unique ID and this value does not change. The only think I can think of, in the time period from 2:30 pm to the next day at 8:45 am - was the service republished? Perhaps someone re-published the service with some data updates? I think this might change the component ID. I'm sorry that it messed up your configured notifications. Since last Wed, have you noticed the component ID changing again? or has it remained the same value of 11716560?

Hi @NicolasNi1977, Apologies for the late reply. I was working at the ERGIS 2025 conference last week in Houston, TX. For the error message in the first screenshot, can you please login to the ArcGIS Administrator Directory for the ArcGIS Server site > then navigate to SiteRoot > usagereports Are there any reports that start with a numerical character? If so, can you please delete them. Then restart the AM Agent service on the machine. Hope this helps,

Hi @Thomas_Puthusserry, The environment description, just to confirm: it sounds like you were able to register the enterprise portal and ArcGIS Data Store components of your ArcGIS Enterprise 11.3 site, but not the 2x ArcGIS Server sites, both single machine (one is the hosting server and the other is federated with the portal), is this correct? For the 2x ArcGIS Server sites, can you see the metrics for their respective host machines? If not, can you please confirm that you've set the appropriate permissions? Then restart AM Agent on the machines. Did you register the 2x ArcGIS Server sites directly in ArcGIS Monitor (on the Monitoring tab), or can you "see" them listed under the "Discovered Components" filter (on the left panel of the Monitoring tab)? If the latter, can you please try and add them via the "Discovered Components" option? Hope this helps,

Hi @NCCGIA, > To be clear, the Agent is installed on the node it just can't be registered with Monitor Server. How can we accomplish this? Is this expected behavior and seamless? I believe this behavior is related to a known bug in ArcGIS Monitor 2024.x, BUG-000176010 - Agents on AWS can fail registration due to duplicate address. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. The team is actively working on addressing this for a future release. Please open an Esri Tech Support issue and you can attach the behavior you're seeing to the bug. This will help prioritize it. Hope this helps,

Hi @SteveMcCarthy, > I use that tool once a month to tune my Services and Servers, please bring it back or create a tool to do the reports. Can you please both more specific on your requirements/needs? We realize there's a need/want to export data from an analysis view, but what else? What does the Export to Excel report tool offer that we're missing in Monitor 2024.x? Certain metrics? If so, which? or display of certain data - maybe we could offer a pre-configured analysis view. The more details you can provide, the better we can consider implementing the functionality in core. Thanks in advance

Hi @GrantSmith122, > I haven't considered upgrading but should maybe look into that. FYI, ArcGIS Monitor 2023.2 was retired in Dec 2024. Please see the ArcGIS Monitor product life cycle document. I recommend you upgrade Monitor. > To confirm I cannot see something's ID in 2023.2 on the Overview tab. Correct. We added this functionality in Monitor 2023.3, see the release blog (side note). > What is strange to me is that I can (possibly) see the component ID for a given item in the URL, but those ID values then don't appear in the notification setup. Perhaps when we enabled displaying the component ID on component overview pages in Monitor 2023.3, we also made it a queryable attribute field for configuring notifications? It's been over a year so I cannot recall exactly. Can you at least upgrade to the Monitor 2023.3.1 release? I know moving to Monitor 2024.x is a bigger lift because of the requirement to install AM Agents on host machines. Hope this helps,

Hi @GrantSmith122, I haven't run ArcGIS Monitor 2023.2.0 in a long time, so I don't recall the UI/UX. Can you upgrade your ArcGIS Monitor instance to v. 2024.1.1 - the latest release? Not only does it contain many new feature enhancements and bug fixes, it also displays the component ID for components on their overview tab, like this: > ... but when I go to create a Notification so I could get an email if the Alert is triggered, I have no idea what I am doing. In Monitor 2024.1.1, you can create the notification this way, Navigate to Administration > Notifications > Create Notification > type is Custom Notification Provide a name and description For Subscribe to Events, Add Event Alerts - Added For Condition Component ID is [component ID of your service] Status is Critical Then you can input the email address and optionally enable a webhook. Conceptually, you have enabled a notification to be created, whenever a new Alert with status critical is created for the service (based on the component ID). I am not 100% sure, but I believe the notification configuration experience in Monitor 2023.2.0 is similar. But as I said, it's been awhile. Hope this helps,

HI @IDOTAdmin, > ... today I noticed a gap in the analysis view. By "gaps" do you mean the "empty" timeslots, such as at 12:30 and at 1:25? So your expectation is to see some data points at these timeslots, right? This behavior is really odd. Some things to try to troubleshoot: Can you please restart your AM Agent service on the host machine; Can you please manually run the ArcGIS Server component's Metrics observer; (navigate to Monitoring page > select the ArcGIS Server component > Observers > select the Metrics observer > View observer details > Run Observer) When change the serial chart display option to line type, do the data points appear? Hope this helps,
