I have a dashboard with a category selector. Categories are from a polygon feature layer. I use the selector to spatially filter a point feature layer and then to zoom to that polygon. Works like a charm, only the points intersecting with the polygon are visible, so far, so good. Now I want to add an indicator to show the number of points (visible) in that polygon. When configuring this as a map action I get the indicator to display the number of points in the extent, not the number of points in the polygon, although only the points in the polygon are visible. What am I doing wrong here? Thanks for your time. Bert

Sorry, that does not answer my question, perhaps my question was unclear. It is true that I can hide (a subset of) my own maps following your reply above and that is a very useful option but I keep getting lots and lots of stuff from esri customers all over the world: This screenshot is an example of what happens when I try to search for 'test'. Before I even finish typing I get hundreds of results none of which are mine, none of which are of interest to us, none of which I want to expose my fieldworkers to. I want to restrict what is visible/searchable to maps from within my organization. Does anybody know how to do that? Thanks for your time. Bert

When I search for a map in Field Maps (version 21.2.1 build 462) I can see a lot of maps I am not the least interested in, let alone I would expose my field workers to them: How can I set this so that my field workers only see content, when shared with them, from my organisation? I found Organization - Security in agol and disabled 'members can search for content outside the organization' but that doesn't seem to do anything in Field Maps. I never saw this in Collector, I sure hope it's a configurable feature in field maps Thanks in advance for your time, Bert

a new field works for me, thank you for your fast response and the link to the docs Although I find it a bit odd that I can seemingly alter the length without error and receive a mysterious error later on, (sometimes much later) I would prefer a "you can't alter field lenght because it contains data" at the moment of the attempt. But hey, if it was easy everybody would be doing it 🙂 Thanks!

ArcGIS Pro 2.8.1 I have a feature class in which I expanded a text field of lenght 100 to 255 using: data - fields - click 'lenght' field and overwrite '100' with '255', click save. seems ok: however as soon as the string gets longer than 100 chars I get an error: Saving, exiting and restarting Pro does not help. What do I miss here? Regards, Bert

My QC solution has 9 buttons most of which need a required response in which user chooses from a dropdown populated by a coded value domain: This works! Great! But when a user unwillingly touches a button they get this dropdown and are obliged to enter something. I would like to know how to back down from this, after I touched the wrong button, without submitting a record or without closing the app altogether. Is is possible to 'unclick' the dropdown? Thanks in advance for your time. Bert

Well, I guess it depends on your previous experience in programming. Do you already have programming skills? In Python? Whatever your background I think it is worth the time and effort to learn to use Python in ArcGIS PRO. I would recommend to use a notebook as you can execute python line by line which helps understanding what is going on and thus helps troubleshooting. Succes!

Thanks @DavidPike, I didn't come across the Selector before it being only accessible from a panel element. I also found the date Selector, great!

Yes. I think you will find a fairly steep but short learning curve (I know I did) in transferring but the rewards are huge. Succes with your transition!

Dashboard showing (clustered) animal sightings with indicators per species: Would it be possible to have a clickable indicator? So as to filter the data on the map to show only that specific animal species/layer? I know you can use the layers icon to hide/unhide the layers and this works but somehow it seems to be more intuitive to click on the indicator. "Asking for a collegue ..." 🙂 Thanks for your time, Bert

Hi Brett, Thanks for your reply. I forgot to mention we are iOS only, so no solution there. However the EOS Tools Pro app also exists on iOS and seems to have a datum shift configuration page: I'll look into that shortly Bert
