Interesting, which ublox do you use? It's not whitelisted in https://doc.arcgis.com/en/collector-classic/ios/create-maps/gps-receiver-support.htm. Do you have supporting software for the ublox on your Android? regards, Bert

yep, i would like that too. isn't there someone who hacked a registrysetting or something? I'm on a sluggish citrix box and choosing arcade and having to wait for the tool to be redrawn every time hurts after a while, it really interferes with the productivity.

It would be nice to have a way to name the extent indicators. I'm writing a report in which several maps occur and one map on a separate page in the report provides an overview containing all the extent indicators, so leaders aren't usable here. I use manually placed textboxes and that's a work around. edit: posted this in 2021 and found it again (nov 2023) after searching for exactly the same problem ... en fin, back to the workaround, manual fiddling.

I would open PRO, load the online map and use the "feature class to feature class" conversion tool to make a local copy

I've had this in 2.8.3 right after IT had installed 2.8.3 in a Citrix environment. I didn't see anything suspicious but they could see this: After IT whiteflagged this .exe for execution I could sign in and start Pro. +1 for IT ! (whoohoo)

Hi all, I received a SLD file as part of a project, as far as I can tell it describes color so assume it's a sort of lyr file or style or something First question: Am I right in my assumption or is it something completely different? If so, what is it? Second question: how to I load this into my arcgis pro (2.8.3) so that my layer gets the right symbology thanks for you time, Bert

A collegue used my newly developed solution to capture some vegetation in polygons. I noticed some stray points way out of the place where he really was: Nothing that can't be fixed but I wonder, is there some setting that I need to set/fix/tweak? He's using an iOS device, iPhone 7 or 8 with a current OS. So what could have induced this: Internal gps receiver and it was rainy weather. Next time I'll lend him an external gnss (EOS Arrow 100) to see if it persists. regards, Bert

I was misled while I had one datapoint (at the very edge of the extend) selected so the clip was empty 'cause it only clips what is selected ... took me a while. 🙂
