To be blunt and to the point, the only way it's going to get addressed is via tech support. I have at least 2, and more in the pipeline, cases just on performance. SDE performance. Blowing up my CPU cooling fans. Some GP processes take twice as long as AM. The so-called "recommended" hardware in fact is "barely start Pro" specs. Here's how this works: I have an SDE case, and they find that the Transmorgifier, only present in a few customer environments, is generating excessive SQL queries to the bunny rabbit. You open your SDE case, and they find that the Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Equalizer is spinning in the wrong direction if you installed Pro on the 3rd Wednesday of an odd month while it's raining and you forgot your lunch. You share this on GN, and I discover that my Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious Equalizer doesn't spin at all. These are things that no QA Test Plan will ever discover, and no intern in the test lab is ever going to think of. So, instead of one customer pissing and moaning to TS about SDE (me), there's now 2, or 4, and they have enough SDE Intercepts and Traces to actually change some code. But, don't be discouraged about sharing your experience on GN. I probably solve half my problems on GN based on ya'll's input, which keeps the TS lines open.....

Same for me. Does it do this on multiple machines? Latest vid card driver? Are you standing on your left foot or right foot when you view the sub types, and chanting the right thousand-year-old anti-curse?

What version? I'm not seeing this in 2.2 in a FC with over 50 subtypes.

In response to the incredulous discovery that Pro can't even execute "Find and Replace", don't forgot to add your vote and use case to https://community.esri.com/ideas/13295

I used to believe the submitting the crash report to the automatic ESRI thing was like pushing the close door button on an elevator: a twisted social experiment to see how many suckers actually believed it functioned. I have since learned, with Pro at least, those error reports, each one of them, get attention. So keep pushing Submit!

One tab of Chrome, then all of the background processes. I have numerous examples of stuff like this, as well as a few TS cases on the topic. But yes, while 4 cores and 8 GB returns as "Recommended" in the "Can You Run It" app, what I'm seeing in testing on over 1 dozen workstations is that translates to "Pro will start but don't expect to get a lot done". FWIW with I think one exception, these are all SSD's as well. For a large org, where Arc Map ran "decently" on the Etch-A-Sketch email checkers we normally get, telling IT that we need to start getting 3000$ Etch-A-Sketches is as likely as two raccoons in a bag of feed corn getting along....memory prices have spiked pretty high lately.

So this is Pro 2.2 for over 10 minutes while doing nothing other than "Download Map". Happens with all of our feature service, which, BTW, download in less than a minute in Arc. Frequently pushed the CPU into 99 and 100% territory and caused extreme sluggishness when doing something else (e.g read emails while waiting forever for Pro to complete a task). Not entirely convinced this 64-bit capability is an improvement.

This "May" be partially implemented, albeit, in a poorly documented way. See my comment in ArcGIS Pro scale bar in nautical miles . I say partially, as the documentation need to make it very clear on how to add nautical mile scalebars, which is doesn't.
