It's not without customization. As you may know Map Tour is what we recommend for placed based narrative, which is why Map Journal doesn't have this option. That being said your app is really impressive, so I understand well that you try to fit multiple use with the same app. The good news for you is that the application is almost ready for that. It's just that the option hadn't been made available in the UI. You can turn it on by modyfing this line of code map-journal-storytelling-template-js/WebApplicationData.js at b6f8246d74753e2f496a33351608bec3ab0834d2 · Esri/map-journa… (return true) and follow the developer guide Esri/map-journal-storytelling-template-js · GitHub

Sorry about the issue, looks like the Facebook API has changed and the application will need to be updated. You can track the issue on this page Facebook public pages import is broken · Issue #40 · Esri/map-tour-storytelling-template-js · GitHub

Great, glad you fixed this (it is expected that creating your Feature Services from ArcMap have the same result). Audio should works fine on iPhone, works fine on mine in Safari/iOS 8.1 when I'm on the media view, on the map view, I can click because I know the button is there but it's barely visible.

Hi, Sorry about your issues. It is not possible to include audio in description when you have chosen the scenario where your pictures are not already hosted online (see below, the red selection). In that case, the restricted list of authorized tag is described in the following document ArcGIS Help (10.2, 10.2.1, and 10.2.2) If you can rebuild your tour to chose one of the green scenarios, adding audio will works. I do not recommand giving a width in pixel to the control but you could do this using the following markup <audio controls="" style="width:250px">
<source src="http://visitmt.com/binaries/content/assets/mtot/audio/butte-audio-tour/butte-audio-tour_-1-milwaukee-railroad.mp3" type="audio/mpeg">

Hi, Map Series doesn't yet support the &embed option (you can try it and you will see that the header will still be there). When we will add that it will be available both for online and when deployed on your own server. In the meantime, the way you did it is way to go, exept that you should never modify viewer-min.css and instead add your css customization in index.html, see Esri/map-series-storytelling-template-js · GitHub

Hi, It should be possible to use any projection supported by ArcGIS Online in the Map Tour application. What happen when you add your layer as the webmap basemap? Was the webmap using the expected projection but not Map Tour? If that's your case, I suggest that you remove the "Tour data layer" from the webmap and open back Map Tour builder to see if it works better (you would have to rebuild your tour). The following document cover the procedure to use a baemap in any projection Choose basemap—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS

No worries Yes that's what I meant because I thought you only wanted to change the base layer of your map. You can create an app from an existing web map. Open your web map in Map Viewer (like I described earlier) and click the share button, then click make a web application then select Map Tour. See the following documentation for reference Create apps from maps—ArcGIS Online Help | ArcGIS

You are welcome. Yes you can do that in Map Tour. Every Tour has an associated web map that you supply or is created for you behind the scenes. Map Tour Builder is limited to a finite set of basemap but if you go to "My Content" in ArcGIS Online, find the webmap (will have the same name than the app) and use the Map Viewer to edit the basemap you can use any basemap that you want.

Ok good, the second one is working for me too. Something has gone wrong with the first one. You will have to redeploy it from a fresh download of the application source. When I look at the source of the page (right click + view page source), the first one is very different from the second one, the code has been altered. This must be your issue.

Hi, You can't do that with any of our tools but there is OpenSource tool that can do the image swipe tool that can be integrated in some of our application like Map Journal or Map Series, see for example that application http://www.arcgis.com/apps/MapJournal/?appid=b8aae3a1486f49789329b9a499764e0e Note that you need access to a webserver to deploy a little html page that reference the JuxtaposeJS scripts. There must be some other service that would not require you to host that intermediate page.

Sorry again but yes both of those now have the same issue. Maybe you should contact them and ask what they change. The issue is that the following files http://ddaintern4.com/baywalk_kangleton/resources/font/OpenSans-Regular-webfont.woff http://ddaintern4.com/k_angleton/resources/font/OpenSans-Regular-webfont.woff are not returning the expected files. Google Drive is working fine for me. Can you share the link?

Sorry, I did not realized that Dropbox removed that feature. it is mentioned in the documentation that it is only available for account created before 2012. Dropbox is not a valid solution for website hosting. There is plenty of player in the free website space but I don't know them. Google drive is another valid option but it's a bit complex to get the URL How to Use Google Drive as a Free Web Hosting Solution I will definitely look into the issue.

I don't know Dropbox Pro but you don't need that. I am just using the Public folder. It's a bit buried and not enabled by default. See What is the Public folder for? (Dropbox Help Center) and https://www.dropbox.com/enable_public_folder
