Thanks for reporting the issue. Do you have a visibility range set for the layer that don't appear until you zoom in? Could you share a link to your app?

Great question. We haven't done it yet but this is doable using a technology like PhoneGap PhoneGap | Home This is covered in depth in the following Developer Summit presentation http://proceedings.esri.com/library/userconf/devsummit15/papers/dev_int_170.pdf Any of our apps should works, let us know your findings! Note that AppStudio for ArcGIS for which an updated beta (with a web builder) will let released soon will let you create native mobile app for Map Tour.

Ok sorry about this. If you can answer a couple of questions, we should be able to reproduce and fix: - are you using swipe or spyglass? - have you enabled or disabled any settings? (popup, swipe series) - what browser are you using? Thanks

The home button should allows to get back to the location that was initially used when the app opened. So until you navigate the map, the expected behavior is that the home button won't do anything. Can you share a link to your application?

The application is public but the first webmap used in the application is not. That's this webmap http://umn.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=5191e61940ca4bec95d89af426305e66 You have to make sure all the webmaps are public, we have recently released a new tool on our website to help you check that kind of things My Stories | Story Maps If you sign-in with your account and find your stories it will tell you which webmap are not shared and let you share them from it.

I answered a bit fast, to be complete, it is actually possible to do this today if your users are administrator of an Organization or have the correct privileges by transferring the ownership of a story to another user. So this require that both editors have those privileges and be able to transfer the story when the other needs it. The button to change ownership is accessible from the item: If you are doing this on a Map Tour, you will also need to transfer the associated web map and optionally the Feature Services. Two of our applications support that really well through a URL parameter (index or entry = the point you want to start). Examples: Map Tour http://story.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapTour/?appid=c50be5615f024cc482ccb88222a8719d&index=3 Map Series http://trans.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapSeries/?appid=7232d42129c145269ad9b8723fbeb8f9&entry=3 Map Journal also support that and it's working well on the Floating Panel layout. But it's not working as well with the Side Panel layout depending on your content (if you have content like images that load after the app load, the panel may not be scrolled properly). Example: http://www.arcgis.com/apps/MapJournal/index.html?appid=075176174db04441a1d7980c3fc39e92&webmap=7f6c4e67cd054139929e09b35… http://pcrj.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapJournal/?appid=2910ea44348f49cea4ab130f2f7f8cd5§ion=4

Thanks Alan, I have been able to reproduce and fix. The patch will be included in our next release planned on July 9th. The character causing the issue was actually the same than Peter.

Hi, I have been able to access the tour. The third point images are not accessible. The thumbnail image is pointing to http://focus.nps.gov/DataEntry/GetAsset/4739e2a8-44f2-4e45-89ce-461a5cb0223f/ and the main image is pointing to http://focus.nps.gov/DataEntry/GetAsset/4739e2a8-44f2-4e45-89ce-461a5cb0223f/thumb/large Both of those links are not valid image. Points 1 and 2 are using images hosted on Facebook. Point 3 is using an ArcGIS Online item. I think the app is working fine, you just to fix the URL that are broken. Regarding the page AssetDetail that you gave in example. This should never works as this is pointing to a page including an image but it's not an image by itself, if you do a right click copy image url, you get the following link http://focus.nps.gov/GetAsset/701f6648-662a-40ad-8634-794261a7d8ab/proxy/hires that link should work.

Thanks, unfortunately your Tour is not shared publicly and I get redirected to the sign-in screen. Please confirm me when it's public and I will take a look. I checked the other Tour and none of the broken images are hosted on Facebook, Flickr or Picasa. They are hosted on various server and have been entered manually. We know it can be hard to keep all the resources of your Story Maps apps alive and that's why we introduced a new tool called My Stories tool, see the announcement Story Maps website updated: new tools and resources!

I haven't looked yet. Our next update will go live around July 9th, that's the earliest I would be able to do. Not sure what's happening with your thumbnail but that must be a different issue. Could you share the story with me? Thanks
