@PiyaliKundu2 Thank you for the consideration and the provided information. I have been hearing alot about the new functionality within workforce (Tasks). Here is what I am unsure of: Our current operation's staff and field crew(s) are highly involved in using Workforce for all daily activities (Dispatchers in the office on desktop computers and field crew(s) foremen as Field Workers on the android app). The way I am reading "enhanced version of Workfoce called Tasks within Field Maps" indicates to me that we will or may need to switch to using Field Maps to take advantage of these enhancements?? Is this correct? OR are these new enhancements in the actual Workforce App itself? You also mentioned a Beta version. Is this something I can take advantage of to experiment and test with my own company data? Please advise so I can be better educated. Thank You

@Neal_t_k Follow-up. I tested it with one of our warehouse guys on their tablet and worked perfectly. Only thing I am stuck on is once all users are complete with their entries, how is it removed from the Inbox? OR does it remain there? I am working on a Power Automate Flow and want somehow to remove it from the inbox once completed so other users/supervisors don't think it's incomplete.

@Neal_t_k Thank you for the information. I was not aware of the inbox feature. This might open many new possibilities for us, IF I can get it to work the way I envision it to work.

Good Morning. I am working on improving certain workflows so I am not generating duplicate final reports each time. Here is my question: Are we able to have different users add different entries to the same form/survey from different devices? Example: Field foreman starts a survey for an inventory request thru their field android tablet. (Power Automate to send a notification that a new survey has been started, BUT not submitted). This notification would trigger an internal process for our warehouse to pull the items and prepare them to be received by our foreman/crew. Once that is done, the warehouse employee would use their tablet to open that same form/survey and input the number of items they pulled/prepared. By them hitting submit, it will NOW trigger Power Automate to run the report and e-mail the final PDF report. In the future, there might be an added entry from a different person from a different department that would add to the form prior to completing the final PDF report. From this example, is this possible? Thank You

@abureaux Yes, I would appreciate info on setting that up in my existing flows. This way, I can be more proactive in catching a failed flow before being yelled at for them not working when someone needs the final reports. Power Automate use to, at one time, send me an email notification when a flow failed, but have not seen them in awhile.

Good Morning: I have a large number of Survey123 forms created with individual Power Automate Flow(s) that automatically create a PDF printed report and emails it to selected personnel who need it. It has become a trend in recent months that I get a complaint from a Superintendent that they did not receive a specific report after their foreman said it was submitted. Investigating the flow(s), they fail and I have to go back in and re-set up the connection, re-establishing the webhook that is created when I build the flow. I need some guidance on what I need/should be doing to prevent this from continuing to happen.

@BigLouC Thank you for the update. This has been an on-going issue for us, and from the other posts on the community page by other users, it has been a struggle for them as well. I have had our user(s) in the field re-download the map/project, un-install the android application, confirm a strong internet/wifi connection and still have issues with the data syncing. Me being the programmer/administrator for our GIS system, all questions/frustrations have been coming to me and I don't have any good answers.

@JakeMatthys We do the exact same thing when it comes to doing field inspections on poles and transformers. The assignment refers to the location and the Survey123 is the inspection. Let me ask you a question on how you prepare the project if I may. How do you load your day for inspections into the individual assignments? My current practice is to load the workforce hosted feature layer into ArcGIS Pro and append the data from a GDB feature class to the FL and update the assignment type, worker ID and any other relevant data. However, one issue I have seen with this workflow is not ALL of the features append into the FL AND I get complaints from our field crew(s) that while doing inspections, some of the assignments are not selectable, which means they cannot select/open it to edit/add notes. Any feedback on that? Also, how do you go about adding the survey to the assignment? I simply just add the link to each assignment and the user clicks on it and goes right to the form and beings their inspection. Curious on your thoughts and process(s).

@JakeSkinner Since I have last integrated this app into my update workflows, I have done a tremendous amount of development on our AGOL platform. The main dataset is maintained and edited on ArcGIS Pro from our internal server and updated to AGOL for usage in Field Maps, Survey123 and Workforce. I have started including attachments to feature classes and related GDB tables with relationship classes. One of the issues I have recently found is when I run the script and it updates a Hosted Feature Layer on AGOL (Feature classes, tables, relationships, etc), the data appears to be updated when I open the data dialog in My Content. However, when I open the map in Map View/Field Maps, the related tables are not reflecting the updates from the same Hosted Feature Layer. This is all from the python script. When I run the tool in ArcGIS Pro to overwrite the hosted feature layer, the related tables in the Map Viewer do infact reflect the updated changes. Any thoughts on the script you provided or something I am overlooking?

Curious if anyone has done this workflow and having any issues: I load the Hosted Feature Layer from AGOL created from the AGOL Workforce App into ArcGIS Pro (Latest version). Here, I can see the dataset in my editing platform. I also load a feature class from a File GDB into the same map so both are visible. From here, I select which features (from a point feature) that I want to include in the Workforce Project. Let us say we are doing an Electric Pad-Mount Transformer inspection. I choose all of the active Transformers from the GDB Feature class and use the append tool to create the individual assignments in the Workforce Hosted Feature Layer and update the attributes accordingly (Worker ID, Assignment Type, Work Order ID, etc). Here is the issue/complaint(s) I am receiving from our Field Crew(s) that use the project on an Samsung Android tablet - Workforce Android App: Some of the assignments (when selected) cannot be selected to start the assignment (adding notes, adding picture, etc). When this happens, they typically pass it and move to the next visible assignment that can be selected. Any ideas or related issues anyone else has seen? Appreciate the assistance.

@PiyaliKundu2 It appears your understanding is correct on what we are trying to accomplish. In the Workforce application, as the administrator/project designer, I want/need the ability to add/modify the Assignment Status (Standard status: Unassigned, In-Progress, Complete, etc) versus having to build work work-arounds or "Cheat-Sheets" for custom projects. This way, if an assignment on a field inspection requires follow-up, the field worker can change the status to Follow-Up Required or Attention Needed, which would trigger the dispatcher to review the contents of the assignment. We are doing a lot of different things in Workforce and having the ability to have free-range on the Assignment Status Domain would be very beneficial. Also, as a dispatcher from the office, they need to be able to go into the Workforce project and have the ability to change the status of an assignment versus opening the project in a Web Application, editing the Feature Layer and changing the status. Too many unnecessary steps for them when it could be done in the same application. I will review the links to see if this does what we need it to. Appreciate your follow-up. Feel free to private message me further for more clarification or workflow explanations.

@BigLouC We have had on-going issues, but I have not really been able to identify any patterns to why and/or when the sync fails. One of the things we also did was limit the number of features included in a project. Example: Doing our detail power pole inspection, has limited it to a feeder(s) versus large areas. This seems to help with the loading of data and sync. However, it is also known that a constant internet connection is required. Our field tablets are on the Verizon network and with the area we are in, there is no lack of signal. The crew(s) always has full bars, so this is not a contributing factor. We have started the same thing with the crew, that if they see syncing is not working, to log-out of workforce/field maps and relog-in to reestablish. Most of the time, this works, but is very inefficient since the foreman and/or service man cannot constantly check their tablet for new assignments. They rely on them auto-populating and being notified as designed and no log-out/log-in multiple times a day.

@MikeJensen Appreciate the feedback. Yes, I learned that the Hosted Feature Layer needs to be downloaded to a local GDB first, for it to work. I've built a Python script that does just that. After the new release, I will update my scripts. Is it possible that release will include the ability to download the attachments straight from a Hosted Feature Layer?
