For the Address insertion, not sure if I like that, just seems messy to me, but then it does say to Joe Blow, hey stop and fill this out, I suppose.

So, it seems you have implemented the method of saving everywhere, seems limiting, but then at least Enter works.

Should be a doc on Plug Ins Settings, or be found with a search. Doc does not describe much, perhaps this is still being worked on, nothing in help that I found for Plug In Settings, there was a Plug In Preference, but nothing mentioned for Server Address, Port, etc..

If I do a search for Plug Ins, the doc is kinda weak. Two listings, and one is the vocabulary page. BTW, If I click on the vocab page, I would expect, to be taken to the Definition, and currently, I have to scroll to the location. Need more doc for plug ins, samples?

Minimize Help, Minimize ArcLogistics. Reopen ArcLogistics, BOOM, Help is there front and center. This is really annoying. This was an issue fixed for core at 9.2 that is a much better experience, so it would be nice if ArcLogistics followed the path of the core software and did not pop up the help after it has been minimized after a relaunch of AL.

A check box denotes that more than one thing can be checked, but I can only click on one project at a time, perhaps a radio button instead of a check box.

So, clicking on the link for the resource center takes me to the live site, but if I click on Resource Gateway, there is no listing for ArcLogistics, perhaps ArcLogistics Resource Center can be a part of the Resourcesbeta.esri.com, to get more feedback, and ideas. This should be a beta that is more accessible to more users.

So, after I log in, as user Riverside, where on the window does it say Riverside. It seems that since I have to log in to access the services, that there would be a way to list who the user is, somewhere on the application. I see I can switch user, perhaps on the Home Tab, there would be a username that lists who is currently logged onto the system.

Overall, I would say that the "Data Driven Pages" Tools are a pretty good first attempt at map production and automation. I think that several will agree that some of the functionality of DSMapBook is Absolutely Necessary to make Data Driven Pages 100%. In my opinion, some of the critical functionality still required are: 1. The Map Book TOC panel. I find this MUCH easier to navigate than a small toolbar with arrows. Most often I have ~175 pages in a map book. Scrolling up and down in a list is much easier than clicking left/right or typing in (guessing) at a number. Also, in the panel you can manipulate each individual page. In many instances I don't want to print/export every page. I just click off the ones I don't want. you can also print/export one single page. 2. Labeling Neighbor tiles is much easier. No GeoProcessing tools are needed to add fields to your index layer for dynamic labeling. It Just works. 3. Select Tile When Drawing. SUPER handy when you want to highlight just the boundary of that page. 4. Supressing tiles that don't contain data from specific layers. Many times I'll do a definition query on a layer to show only specific features (i.e. Show me only FEMA flood zones AE). Then create map series pages for only those tiles. Easy as Pie in DSMapbook. Can't do w/ data driven pages. 5. Export each individual page to it's own PDF. This is really handy when you want to link to a pdf on a website. Also, a PDF of 175 tiles at 15MB each can make one heck of a large PDF File. Overall, I think that Data Driven Pages show promise, but still have some ways to go. Oh, I would say that I do REALLY like Dynamic Text Labeling. Great added feature! I am one that agrees with Andrew, in that DDP has a way to go.

Does anyone know if ArcGIS honors MSSQL relationships that are not built in SDE? How about general MSSQL column types. In the grand scheme I think SDE limits the types to few where MSSQL choices are many. I would like to see ArcSDE and MSSQL make use of dbms for non spatial data, i.e. a parcel feature class (SDE) related to CAMA data (non SDE) without having to build a spatial view. You may want to look into query layers. These are layers you create using fields that are spatial in nature, but not sde. How about relationship classes based on Assessment Numbers, or build a database view in SQL, and join interactively with an MXD. Are you trying to edit the CAMA data inside of ArcGIS, and having to work with all of the sde based tables and how the data crosses between the different databases? Or are you just wanting to use CAMA tables with GIS data?

You guys have been busy. it would be nice to have user lookup, when someone asks for access. If I have a layer that is not a published/public layer and someone requests access, I want a way to look them up before I decide whether they should get access. Does this make sense?
