If I press the full screen option in the view menu, on the toolbar after it moves to full screen, there is a button for going back to normal, the button does not appear to show the whole button, it appears to be cut off. See Attachment (Full Screen). After I move it back to regular view, there are remnants of this button on the toolbar (After_full_screen). See attachment. If I move the toolbar away from the button, there is a remnant left, but no picture icon (move_toolbar...). See Attachment. This is win 7.

Pressing the F11 shortcut key for Maximizing Reader does not work in Win 7. The command from the menu View does work.

I fear that since you went down this path of controlling the python install, if I set up additional modules, packages, etc..., that when the time comes, I uninstall 10, and this will in turn kill everything else. Has anyone tested this scenario, this potentially painful scenario? On test machines, who cares but production machines, this is a big worry.

Would be nice to have the option to create versions below a staging version directly below the default version. The editors would then be able to edit these versions with a fabric and then reconcile and post to the staging version prior to a push to default. Currently, we are only able to create versions directly from default. This is a limited workflow. TAG: Geodatabase

Adding the STAThread attribute dramatically changes C# and F# performance, and adding in the missing ReleaseComObject lines significantly improves VB .NET performance, bringing all three in line with each other as I had originally expected. Also, setting the "CLR Thread Attribute" and "CLR Unmanaged Code Check" linker settings in the C++/CLI benchmark [the actual benchmark code is unmanaged] brings its performance to about the same as C++/ATL, which is what it should be. :cool: So here once again *sigh* are my benchmarks for 9.3.1: Seconds: Java: 81 IronPython: 54 Python: 40 VB/C#/F#: 27 VBA: 14 C++: 13 Python/arcgisscripting: 43 and now for the 10.0 RC: Seconds: Java: 78 IronPython: 44 Python: 33 VB/C#/F#: 19 VBA: 8 C++ : 8 Python/arcpy: 98 At the DevSummit, the ESRI geoprocessing team said for the 10.1 release they hope to improve the performance of arcpy and add Python support to the add-in framefork. :rolleyes: I've also updated both the sample code and the presentation at my web site. 😛 Well then I guess I will be looking forward to 10.1, then, just amazing on how slow arcpy is on these tests at 10.
