So, with SP1 on for next week, does this mean 2.1 is ready as well, or will it be the following week?

I think I may need to create a video on this issue, I am only using the main map to trigger the weird behavior in the Overview window. The issue is still the overview window, and how the hash is rendered. There is an inconsistency in the hash. A video will clear this up, a lot.

There may have been some residual processes going on at the time, so, next week I will retest, but then SP1 may be out for Data Reviewer, so maybe I wait. It just seems like if It works for regular layers, it should also work with standalone, so no big deal. Any word on SP1, Kumar. I have a couple of posts on here about SP1. Does Pro Services provide lists of bugs fixed and other info for SPs prior to release? Also, remember Kumar, if you ever need some test data we can give you some.

Is there anything new coming in respect to full support for SQL Server 2008 R2 Express and the 10 GB it can store, perhaps at SP1?

Grid Setup option provided at different places serves different purposes, Overview Window provides an option to add grid in the Overview Window as well as in the map however the grid setup in other two places uses the same dialog box and they are linked with each other. I tested on a latest beta build of Production Mapping 10 SP1 and I found that if you use the Advance option of Reviewer Session Manager to setup a grid it is properly accessed from the Reviewer table properties, but the Overview Window option is not linked with other two options because it is used for a different purpose and have additional option. Ok, I can see that, but it would be easier, if on one dialog, I could set the properties for all three different instances, since maybe the grid is the same on all three instances. A simpler approach will always be better than a complicated approach. One dialog for three properties, is a lot less clicks.

Another question in regards to your response to #3: Do you think Esri should move any and all existing python related discussions (like those currently in Map Automation, etc) to the future Python subforum? If Jim were to create a new forum for Python, what is the argument to not consolidate existing Python-related posts from other forums there (other than it being a pain in the :o)? I suppose it may be a bit conflicting to move a post entitled "How to execute SDE commands via Python" that was currently in the SDE forum. But, as my basic argument basically states, I think a question like that would stand a better chance of being answered if it was in a Python forum in the 1st place. I agree there is some grey area, but not a huge amount... Wow, this is starting to get good. Pythonistas Unite for a common good. The conversation is starting to get a bit complicated. Should we do this, should we do that, what if it is this, what if it is that, what if it says this, what if it says that or that, along with this. Why not just create a new thread called Python, and see if it grows. Keep the existing GP forum, keep all the existing posts where they currently are at, let the process work itself out. In 6 months, if Python is not used, Kill it, and move the stuff in it to other areas. If its hopping by then move existing posts here or not, it really shouldn't be a huge issue. I do see that the Yes vote is progressing a bit faster than No. Perhaps we can get a few more additional GP/Analysis members on here and see what they think, not to discount Jason or Kevin's votes. Ultimately, they have to monitor this thread, and at times respond to the community that they support, but this is a community and this will be the Users Forum for Py. While all this is happening, Staff can continue to make search better.

Are tables supported for Domain Checking when a table has a Domain? I just ran a Check it found 26 records, I can only Browse them (Reviewer Table Grayed Out), and it seems like the Browse is locked up. I did just recently kill a process where the Browse was trying to Browse over 400,000 records, so perhaps there is something residual happening here. I guess another kill is in order.

Running on a subset of the data around 200,000 parcel records does not scream to 1.5 GBs in 30 Seconds, but after about 10 minutes I am at 1.6 GBs and expecting a crash any second now. Ok, it ran through and did not crash. It found 439938 potential domain issues, which I already know I cannot write this many to the Table, so I suppose I will try and browse them, but I guess we will see if that will work with this many records. For sure, this check will need to be done on far fewer parcels, and I can check this check off the list that can not be run at night on the Service. Bummer, another one that can not be automated. Ok, It seems to be frozen, stuck at 1 GB mem usage, so Browse can't handle this many records. Good to know.

If I select Grid Cells in the Reviewer Window using the Select Grid Cells Button, then Select the Zoom to Selected, my Hash pattern envelops the Selection which is what I would expect, if I however, adjust the Map View by using the Continuous Zoom Pan Button (Any button on the Standard Toolbar should suffice) by just a very small increment, the Hash Pattern Grows beyond the Selection inside of the Reviewer Overview Window. This is not What I would expect. The Hash pattern now reflects the view in the Map, not the Selection in the Overview Window. Is this the expected behavior? Occasionally, you can see the same behavior with the Hash Symbol when Zooming to Active Grid Extent from the Right Context Menu. This example is harder to repro.

It would be nice to have the capability to select features on the map from what is selected in the overview window. If I Select Grid Cells in my Overview Window, it would be nice to have a capability where I can select the same area in the map itself, for which I then could run a check based on the Selected Set. Now I can Select Grid Cells, Click Zoom to Selected which zooms to the extent, then have to manually select the extent in the map view. If this capability was added in the Overview Window, I would not have to do this extra step.

It would be a nice to have a zoom in/out capability in the Reviewer Overview window on the toolbar, in addition to the right click context menu. There appears to be some space on the toolbar to the right of Change Cell Status that could conceivably support both of these tools.
