This just happened to me. Last week I was editing a (versioned) polygon layer, this week I get that error and can't edit *anything* in my production (SQL Sever) DB. Tried different machines, different Projects, different FCs. Haven't tried re-versioning, I'll have to do that off-hours. The technical help doc is classic - https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/tool-errors-and-warnings/160001-170000/tool-errors-and-warnings-160326-160350-160334.htm Anyone have ideas? I'll contact tech support but based on the document above I'm not real hopeful. Thanks, Tycho

Thanks Matthew, that does help. Next up will be tricking it into looking at the correct version of the GeoDBs before export. I will post here when/if I get it figured out

We are running Enterprise in-house (currently 10.6, will be 10.9 shortly). We... Create/test MXDs on development machine with relative paths Copy finalized .mxd file to production machine. (Copies of) File GeoDBs and directory structure are identical to development site so links to data layers remain connected Publish to the world/subsets thereof Maintain/update/modify the mxd on production and republish as needed. (ArcMap is not installed on either server, it just has access) Pro projects don't seem to be mobile like moving an mxd around. So far I haven't been able to find anything on how to change our workflow to work with Pro. It's all "hit publish in Pro and poof! It's magic and it works!" That's nifty, but doesn't give me anything helpful on how to actually administer our GIS (for example, am I supposed to install Pro on the server and create a multitude of projects on there? That can't be right) Anyone have good examples/links to documentation that's actually specific on creation/maintenance with Pro? We've been using mxds long enough that I'm having trouble getting my head around the new environment. Thanks, Tycho

So before I leave the office each day I should authorize Pro to work offline in case we lose our connection overnight? Or always leave Pro running? Some of you EMS people who are way smarter then me must have figured this out.

This is just a general question, it occurred to me after helping with one of the recent wildfires. Say I come in one morning, start my machine, and there is no Internet access. How can I get Pro to start (we have named user licenses so they are stored online)? From the tech-support article (here) it does not look good – Question 3: What do I do if I have lost my internet connection and my license is stored online? Answer: You can continue to use Pro for up to 24 hours after losing internet connectivity, as long as you do not shut down the ArcGIS Pro application. If the application is shut down, you will be required to log in again, which requires an internet connection. At the end of the 24 hours, the user will have the opportunity to save their work. This has got to be a common question, what am I missing? Thanks, Tycho

Hopefully I'm missing something obvious, and per the title – Is there a version of the USGS Topo Service that does not have the hillside? I can get the individual quads from the USGS Topographic Map Explorer (which looks like a nightmare to stitch together one at a time - I need about 70 of them - in Arc Online). Downloading them as geotiffs from USGS will not work as they contain the map collar. Thanks, Tycho

Is there a way to suppress word wrapping in popups? I'm using Arcade to display a list and the really long strings wrap. For example: Is there a "no wrap" function or equivalent? I'm using this in both Pro and 10.9.1 web maps

Based on the link Dan Patterson provided above and the image on one of the help pages you have to change the setting on the main (application) page as the model refers to that, not anything inside. So, per this image: I changed the toggle on Pro's main page: and my model ran successfully. Thanks, Tycho

Alrighty, it's been 3 years. Did they change the name (search for Attribute Transfer just brings up the line-only version) or not added it yet? If not, is the Desktop version available in Model Builder? Looks like it's only in the Spatial Adjustment toolbar (which is weird and doesn't do me any good, it's just one step in a process I need to automate). Thanks, Tycho

Sorry about the delay, this got lost in the holiday madness... I ran out of time (at least as much as I was willing to spend) to get pandas/notebook to work so mostly brute-forced it. In sum: Import the original tab-delimited file to Excel (using data model/data refresh so I wasn't manually fixing the fields each time) Do the work on my FC Join the Excel table to my FC Made a simple table-to-table model to rearrange/change field names so only the updated/required fields exported Imported the csv back into Excel (since Pro can't directly export tab-delimited through models- not sure if 2.9 added that) Exported from Excel to a tab-delimited file Dumped it back into the Clerk's software. I had to run the Clerk's data a bunch of times so even this semi-automation saved me some time. Thanks, Tycho

Using Table to Table to export to a csv file adds the OID field even though it is not included in the model. It does the same thing when running it as a python script as well. Model popup: (no OID field listed) Python snippet: (no OID field listed before the first field) # Process: Table To Table (Table To Table) (conversion) with arcpy.EnvManager(qualifiedFieldNames=False): GIS_Export_csv = arcpy.conversion.TableToTable(in_rows=GISVotersJune2021_2_, out_path=Redistricting2021, out_name="GIS_Export.csv", where_clause="", field_mapping="RESADR_ID \"RESADR_ID\" true true false 255 Text 0 0,First,#,GISVotersJune2021,Text$.RESADR_ID,0,255;IS_STANDARD....<snip> Output csv with extra field: OID_,RESADR_ID,IS_STANDARD,ADDR_NON_STD,HOUSE_NUM,HOUSE_SUFFIX,PRE_DIRECTION,STREET_NAME,STREET_TYPE,POST_DIRECTION,UNIT_TYPE,UNIT_NUM,CITY,STATE,ZIP_CODE,ZIP_PLUS,SPL_ID,PRECINCT, How do I get rid of it? Right now I'm dumping the table into Excel (and not importing that field) which is a pain. Thanks, Tycho

Anyone know what is/how to fix the error below? Only affects mxds on one machine (location of the mxds on the network doesn't matter). I can click through the popup and the MXD opens, certainly not going to save them with that error. I don't particularly want to reinstall Arc hoping for the best. Using Desktop 10.7 (and yes, I'm also using Pro, I don't have time to convert hundreds of MXDs at the moment...) Thanks, Tycho
