Thanks Derek for helpful info. Are there plans in the near future to support hosting custom widgets in ArcGIS Online? Is this part of 2019 road map? Thanks.

At the Dev Summit 2019, the ArcGIS Enterprise Road Map Ahead session discussed the new "Hosted Imagery Layers" feature. What are the differences between Hosted Imagery Layers and current Mosaic Image Services? Why is this being created? Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback. Working with Esri tech support would take forever. I don't have time for that. I took a back-up of database and will attempt to remove all artifacts for the corrupt feature class via SQL Server Management Studio. Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion. But, this did not resolve the issue. The repair tool did not find any problems. Any more suggestions would be appreciated. This is a major headache. Thanks!

Two feature classes apparently were corrupted when I 'unregistred as versioned'. I cannot open, delete, or change the name of the feature classes. This creates a huge problem since code is dependent on the name. Super frustrating... See attached picture with error message: Open Failed Error opening feature class. The item does not have a definition. The XML being loaded could not be parsed. [physical name: GIS.DATACREATOR.COUNTIES] XML Parsing failed. Reason:An invalid character was found in text content. ------------ At the very least, I'd like to remove (delete) the feature class so I can rebuild it... Any assistance is very much appreciated! GDB stored in SQL Server. ArcGIS 10.5.1.

It appears I keep losing my database connection? I am looping. The first 6 or 20 or so operations execute fine, but then it appears I loose the database connection? There is a pause, then a rapid fire of errors. Once it loses a connection, it does not recover. Any suggestions? Thanks. I still need to get raster info using a spatial query. If I use ArcMap Identify tool on a mosaic dataset I can get multiple rasters returned that are stacked on top; each raster, I can tell via function chain, what the source image is. How do I do this via ArcPy?

Thanks for responding. That would be nice if the error message made logical sense. For me, I get this error for various reasons. In this case, I has the "sampling type" set wrong to too many samples. Apparently, ArcMap could not handle it and gave the 000210 error. Not very helpful error messaging. Thanks!

I'm trying to create a python script to perform QA on our mosaic datasets. It's very easy to make a mistake configuring them. For instance: We need to standardize on Meters for all of our geoprocessing, but our raster data could be in feet or meters. We have one mosaic dataset that includes many mosaic datasets. Each "child" mosaic dataset can contain rasters in "feet" or "meters". Each mosaic that contains rasters in "feet" has a function chain to convert "feet" to "meters". So everything is in "meters" at the parent mosaic level. Using Python, I'd like to iterate through each raster and check source units to ensure the mosaic dataset is configured correctly, i.e. all feet are being converted to Meters; (and, no meters are getting an extra conversion). Can someone make some suggestions to get me started? i.e. using arcpy, how do I get the source units of a raster in a mosaic dataset? Thanks!

I have multipoint features. I want to convert this to polygons. I used the following tool using convext hull, but I'm missing areas. See picture. Minimum Bounding Geometry—Data Management toolbox | ArcGIS Desktop Is there a tool or ArcPy way to get the polygon boundary of the multipoint feature? Peace & Love! Jerry
