Have followed the tutorials and troubleshooting within the forum, and can't figure it out. Scenario is .NET proxy on http-only host. http:// myserver.com/proxy/proxy.ashx?ping { "Proxy Version": "1.1.2", "Configuration File": "OK", "Log File": "Not Exist/Readable"} http:// myserver.com/proxy/proxy.ashx?https://services1.arcgis.com/xxxxxxxxxx/arcgis/rest/services/xxxxxxxxxx/FeatureServer/0?f=pjson&token=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx displays JSON just fine http:// myserver.com/proxy/proxy.ashx?http://xxxxxx.maps.arcgis.com displays a blank white screen http:// myserver.com/proxy/proxy.ashx?http:// myserver.com/wab displays a blank white screen Proxy.config -- <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <ProxyConfig allowedReferers="*" mustMatch="true"> <serverUrls> <serverUrl url="http://services.arcgisonline.com" matchAll="true"/> <serverUrl url="http://services1.arcgisonline.com" matchAll="true"/> <serverUrl url="https://xxxxxx.maps.arcgis.com" clientId="xxxxxxxxxxx" clientSecret="xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" matchAll="true"/> </serverUrls> </ProxyConfig> Ultimate goal is to have .NET ASP web application hosted on myserver.com from which authenticated users click links to open web application building mapping app -- which can be hosted in ArcGIS Online or locally on same server.

Okay -- we got this. widgets\TimeSlider\Widget.js- line 78 change -- this.timeSlider.setThumbIndexes([0,1]); to -- this.timeSlider.setThumbIndexes([0,0]); Now "start" and "end" time slider handles are on same tick mark. Yes, the user can click and separate them again - but I am comfortable with the starting point is 1 day, as long as they stick with 'Play' and 'Next' they will be okay, and if they do click and separate the handles they will figure out how to slide back onto each other to get the 1 day view. Wish there was a better answer to constraining time enabled data to a 1 day view.

We have a time enabled map service showing the track of a hurricane for our upcoming statewide hurricane exercise. -- Events/2015_06_HurrEx_KIMO (MapServer) . For purposed of the exercise, for each day there is only 1 forecast. It works just fine with a web app like this -- ArcGIS Web Application Except -- note how the Time Slider has two handles on it to set the duration of the time displayed -- from May 15, 2016, 8:00 PM to May 16, 2016, 8:00 PM. That isn't a problem on Day 1 of the exercise. But on Day 2 -- it is, because now the map is displaying 2 current locations and 2 forecast tracks. The solution is, of course -- to close up the 2 sliders, to display only 1 day like this -- There -- that's perfect for Day 2 of the exercise. Challenge is -- my users can't be expected to learn that trick. I need to either set the time handles to the same interval -- or better yet, even just get rid of one, so that only 1 day at a time will be displayed. Anybody have any ideas? Seems like it would be a mighty useful setting to only show daily increments, and not durations overlapping days. And, yes -- I have played with all time enabled settings in the map -- the setting there is 1 day -- but those handles allow the user to set durations overlapping a day.

I got a customized query widget to work with 3.4 with the following enhancements -- -- Declare any new marker symbols you'll need... private var resultMarkerSymbol:Symbol;
private var resultMarkerSymbol1:Symbol;
private var resultMarkerSymbol2:Symbol;
private var resultMarkerSymbol3:Symbol;
private var resultMarkerSymbol4:Symbol;
private var resultMarkerSymbol5:Symbol; -- After marker symbol is defined... //marker symbol
const resultMarkerSymbolURL:String = configXML.symbols.picturemarkersymbol.@url || widgetIcon;
const parsedResultMarkerSymbolHeight:Number = parseFloat(configXML.symbols.picturemarkersymbol.@height[0]);
const resultMarkerSymbolHeight:Number = isNaN(parsedResultMarkerSymbolHeight) ? 0 : parsedResultMarkerSymbolHeight;
const parsedResultMarkerSymbolWidth:Number = parseFloat(configXML.symbols.picturemarkersymbol.@width[0]);
const resultMarkerSymbolWidth:Number = isNaN(parsedResultMarkerSymbolWidth) ? 0 : parsedResultMarkerSymbolWidth;
const resultMarkerSymbolXOffset:Number = (configXML.symbols.picturemarkersymbol.@xoffset != null) ? configXML.symbols.picturemarkersymbol.@xoffset : 0;
const resultMarkerSymbolYOffset:Number = (configXML.symbols.picturemarkersymbol.@yoffset != null) ? configXML.symbols.picturemarkersymbol.@yoffset : 0;
resultMarkerSymbol = new PictureMarkerSymbol(resultMarkerSymbolURL, resultMarkerSymbolWidth, resultMarkerSymbolHeight, resultMarkerSymbolXOffset, resultMarkerSymbolYOffset); -- Add any custom marker symbols you may need... //special markers for classified values -- one for each value to be symbolized
resultMarkerSymbol1 = new PictureMarkerSymbol("assets/images/i_hydro_green.png", resultMarkerSymbolWidth, resultMarkerSymbolHeight, resultMarkerSymbolXOffset, resultMarkerSymbolYOffset);
resultMarkerSymbol2 = new PictureMarkerSymbol("assets/images/i_hydro_yellow.png", resultMarkerSymbolWidth, resultMarkerSymbolHeight, resultMarkerSymbolXOffset, resultMarkerSymbolYOffset); -- In createQueryResults, after setting the infoWindowRenderer, add code setting a graphic symbol for each desired value. I am classifying by "Stage" and only showing a few of the values by which to classify...
var infoWindowRenderer:ClassFactory = new ClassFactory(PopUpRenderer);
infoWindowRenderer.properties = { popUpInfo: configurePopUpInfo(resultAttributes)};
graphic.infoWindowRenderer = infoWindowRenderer;
var fieldNameTextValue:String = graphic.attributes["Stage"];
if (fieldNameTextValue == "normal")
{
graphic.symbol = resultMarkerSymbol1
}
else if (fieldNameTextValue == "action")
{
graphic.symbol = resultMarkerSymbol2
}
else
{
//leave a default marker if needed
graphic.symbol = resultMarkerSymbol
} - In the case statement below that, comment out setting a renderer for the whole layer case Geometry.MAPPOINT:
{
//resultFeatureLayer.renderer = new SimpleRenderer(resultMarkerSymbol);
break;
} That worked for me with a point layer -- more would have to be done with lines and/or polygons.

The viewer will handle coordinates in the URL that are not in the same spatial reference as the application, you just need to specify the wkid in the URL, eg: http://www.example.com/flexviewer/index.html?center=103.87,1.31,4326&level=8 This URL tells the application that the coordinates are in wkid 4326 for geographic / decimal degrees. To put a point at the location would require you to some custom coding, there is nothing out of the box to do this. Regards Anthony Thank you, Anthony...I had totally overlooked that the wkid could be passed in, and thought I had to code to handle that. Seeing that it was already addressed made the rest of the work easy.

I got the code written to accomplish this -- by modifying MapManager.mxml to add a graphic at the center. I am having a problem with the infoTemplate for that graphic -- but otherwise, this is working pretty well. Essentially I followed the same steps Locate follows to place the graphic.

I would be sure that somebody has probably already addressed this one -- but I have searched and can't find it. I need to open the Viewer centered at coordinators passed in the URL parameters AND display a marker at that location. Out-of-the-box the viewer includes passing "center=" in the URL parameters to do such, but does not include displaying a marker at that location. Also, of course, I want to pass in Lat/Long coordinates in decimal degrees -- so I'll have to handle reprojecting. Has anybody else tackled this one already? Any body have any sample code they could provide? I am working in MapManager.mxml, but so far not having any luck adding the graphic marker.

We have forms outside of our Flex Viewer to enter an address and zip, geocode that to return coordinates, and then open our Flex Viewer zoomed to that location. This is working great passing in parameters on the command line to zoom the map. Next challenge is -- can we create a graphic to highlight the coordinate on the map? Does anyone know of a way to do this without programming? Are there any hidden URL parameters to do this? In ArcIMS I could do this, and you can easily do it with the Google Maps API. I was hoping that someone may be aware of a simple trick or perhaps at least had some code to take the coordinate from the URL and create a graphic at that location.
