Does your org have an enterprise environment with an Image Server role? If you had that you could create high performance image services from Raster Mosaic Datasets which would eliminate the need to cache your imagery. Just a thought if you have access to this software.

I know creating caches can take a long time, but maybe you can create the cache in Pro instead of copying it. Was the cache you are trying to copy originally created from ArcMap or Pro? What type of caching format did you use as that might be a factor here as well?

Did you have SDE connections working in your previous version of Pro? If so, do you remember where these files were stored on disk? I would have thought the previous SDE connections would still be available in the upgraded version of Pro without the need to re-create new SDE connections.

Robert: What version of enterprise are you currently using? Is that version installed with log4j v 2.15, as v2.15 as per industry is not deemed to be secure and you need to upgrade to at least v2.16 (I've read that v2.17 is now available) unless you run the python scripts? Hopefully Randall can provide additional clarification.

Try creating a model and then export out to python script and compare to your script. Add print statements for all inputs to ensure the correct information is being passed.
