When you go to the REST endpoint in a browser and click on the feature class link, you do not see any relationships defined between the feature class and table at the bottom of this page?

Is the related table in the same database as the feature class you are relating it to? I ask because ArcGIS Server needs access to both locations in order for the mapservice to be published correctly.

Brett: Do you know if your python script is even being initiated when run as a scheduled task? Are you using any SDE connections? Are you running the model itself on the 10.1 2008 R2 machine? Or did you run the model on another machine and just try to run it as a scheduled task on the 10.1 2008 R2 machine?

Mary: When you run this python script on your system, do you have the SDE connection password in blank text for the creation of this new SDE connection? If you, would it not be better to use a SDE connection file from another location that has already been created so the password is not contained within the python script?

Bumped up. This really should have been posted as a discussion as I do not expect there to be 1 answer as the GIS and IT architecture could be vastly different from organization to organization. I'm just trying to get other organization's experiences.

Mark: Do you have any logging to determine at what point the script fails or if it even initiates? You might also try creating a bat file to call from the scheduled task and then call the python script from the bat file. This is especially useful if you want to run a series of python scripts one after the other.

lauramendenhall6: Was the operating system where you had Arc 10.1 installed different from the operating system where you had Arc 10.0 installed? I have found that a Windows Server 2008 machine has higher security settings where, even though I am a local admin on the machine, I still need to explicitly tell the machine that I want to run software As Administrator in order for the software to work properly.

I have a FlexViewer 3.1 application that I just recently applied map rotation to in the config file. Before applying the map rotation I was able to zoom in very tightly on the map (Let's say 1:600) very quickly (1-2 seconds). With the map rotation applied I can zoom tightly into the map with a decent response time when only a few (1 or 2) layers are visible. If I have all my default layers on, I am only able to zoom a small way into the map (Let's say 1:64,000) before I am unable to zoom in any more and the browser freezes. Is this expected behavior as it takes longer to render the map when it is rotated? Has anyone else experienced this behavior? If so, is there a way to fix this problem?

Mark: Are you running the python script on a Windows Server (2003 or 2008, etc.)? If so, are you running it with highest privileges set? If so, do you have it set to run whether user is logged on or not? What version of ArcGIS Desktop do you have installed on the machine that you are running this scheduled task? Under Action do you have Program/script set to the path of the python.exe file and under Add arguments do you have the path to the specific py file?

I am trying to monitor routing usage credits for AGOL for Organizations to determine if I need to purchase more credits. As such I would like to put in a custom range to show credits used over that time period. Yesterday I was able to go back to 1/11/2013 and today and I can only go back to 1/12/2013 to generate statistics. Does the custom range only have a finite amount of time that can be searched (~60 days), so the date range will change every day? If this is the case, this tool loses a good portion of its usefulness for tracking AGOL for Organizations usage.
