How to Connect with ArcGIS Users in Esri Community
In addition to the User Conference, you can connect with other ArcGIS Users anytime in Esri Community! Join Esri Community to find solutions for working with products, to learn ideas from other users in your industry, or to share your experience and workflow tips. Click “Sign In” in the top navigation bar to create an account with your ArcGIS Online account. Your Esri Community membership is complimentary!

Select an Avatar from our new Collections
Our Esri Community avatar collection has new designs. Select an avatar from our Mappers, Locations, and Developers collection. You can also upload your own custom avatar of your photo. To view our avatars, click your avatar in the top navigation bar for Esri Community and click My settings in the drop-down menu. Learn more about setting up your profile

Start your first post as an Esri Community member by introducing yourself and sharing your experience and background with GIS! We would love to know your story!
Subscribe to a Place of Interest
Navigate to a community place you’re interested in by clicking All Communities and selecting one of the quick links to popular places from the drop-down menu. To view all of the communities that are available in Esri Community, click All Communities to see Worldwide communities, Learning communities, and more.
Once you find a place of interest, click the Subscribe button to follow discussion boards in your preferred developer place. Learn more about managing your settings, including your email notifications.
Vote on an Idea or Post a New Idea for ArcGIS Products
Esri Community hosts ArcGIS Ideas, where everyday users of ArcGIS products submit and vote on each other’s ideas to push the innovation of Esri products. Navigate to an Idea exchange board for a place in Esri Community such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, or ArcGIS Enterprise, and browse the latest ideas available to vote on an idea.

Engage the other members to provide feedback or help you solve a problem! Navigate to a place’s question board and click Create A Post. Read about how to ask a good question that will generate responses.
Tip: Share your code for review by another member! Add code in your post by selecting Insert Code from the editorial bar after you click to expand the toolbar.
