% Complete bar jumping around

I have never seen this before but when I am using model builder with beta 2 to clip a raster and then convert it to a polygon, the % complete bar that scrolls across for each process will count up 3-5% and then go down 2% and then count up 3-5% and then go down 2%. This only occurs when the process is very quick, so the bar quickly jumps right, left, right, left. Has anyone else had this happen ever?

I have been building some address locators and have noticed this too. The status was up to 80% complete and then went back to numbers less than 10. Once it did that, the numbers are progressing in order (i.e 10s, then 20's ). 30 seconds after the address locator started, the Background Processing area disappeared for awhile too. Don't know if this is normal. It did come back.

I better clarify my previous comment. I am using beta 2 and the window itself didn't jump around. I was creating the address locator for a 2 million plus record set, so it did take some time.
