Hi All,
I couldn’t figure out if there is a way to add a new image to cached map service.
For example, I have 3 cached images in a map service, how I can add the fourth image with its cache to the cached service
I will be very appreciated for any help.

Lubna

You can use the Manage Map Server Cache Tiles in the Caching Toolset in the Server toolbox.
http://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/latest/tools/server-toolbox/manage-map-server-cache-tiles.htm
You can update the cache by using an area of interest.
Thank you for your reply,
I tried this tool but the result was:
Manage Map Server Cache Tiles fails to display all the cache of the added raster on some scales. Is there are any additional steps should I do.
Furthermore, I noticed that despite that building overview has not been created after adding the new raster, the cache effect has been taken!
What do you think?
The steps that I follow are below:

In Addition to the issue in the above comment, the behavior of viewing the map service in arcmap is different from using ArcGIS JavaScript at the cached scales, what do you think?

Hi lubna jarara'ah,
Apologies for the delay in getting back to you.
To check if all the tiles are created by rebuilding the cache status for the whole area (without the Area of Interest) using the Manage Map Server Cache Status tool.
If there are tiles missing, run the Manage Map Server Cache Tiles tool and select the Recreate Empty Tiles option.
Hope this helps,
Shelley
Thank you for your reply Shelley Schott
I tried this and it works well but it takes the same time of caching the 4 images! that means there is no added value of using this tool!
