Updates to color-coded layers

  • New bivariate colors and graduated colors symbology types will allow you to see the relationship between two variables.
  • Geography levels will be displayed as interactive lists, making it easier to update the map.
  • When using the online Esri 2024 data source, geography levels will be organized in groups by relative topic, such as groups containing levels for administrative or marketing purposes.
  • The standard deviation classification method will be added as the default variable type for averages, percentages, indexes, and ratios.

Improvements to benchmark comparisons workflow

  • The export to Excel option will be enhanced to support exports of thematically colored cells.
  • Adding neighboring geographies to the analysis will be improved with site filtering.

Updated suitability analysis workflow

  • Suitability analysis will be updated so users can set up and run the analysis without opening individual geoprocessing tools, allowing for uninterrupted interaction with criteria and settings.
  • You will be able to reorder criteria in the suitability analysis.
  • Exploring a statistical overview in the Results pane's summary view will now be possible.
  • You will be able to easily undo or redo criteria modifications in the workflow.

Updates to territory design

  • The Modify Territories pane will include enhanced tooltips to display territory violations, such as attribute and distance constraints.
  • You will now be able to undo or redo manual territory edits or entire solve operations.

Enhancements to the Results pane

  • The Results pane will be updated to support interactive selections and descriptive statistics.
  • Summary, histogram, and scatterplot views will be added to benchmark comparisons.

Data browser improvements

  • Working with variables will be improved, allowing easier ways to manage and reorder variables in lists.
  • You will be able to set favorites and view metadata pop-ups within tools and workflows.
  • A node will be added to the data browser that conveniently lists all variables in a dataset.
  • Semantic search will be improved when working with numeric concepts.

Updates to working with segmentation data

  • The color-coded layer workflow will apply pre-defined cartographic styles to segmentation data, such as Tapestry Segmentation data in the U.S. and PRIZM data in Canada.
  • You will be able to display segment names as IDs, or IDs and names.
