I wonder if this is similar to the issue I have with Repeat groups with that are triggered by relevant questions. @AndrewRyan, does your repeat groups have relevant questions? Here's the link to my question: https://community.esri.com/thread/213589-calculate-not-working-with-survey-27 I'm using the repeat group for the same purpose as you are to calculate values from a pulldata that are still used elsewhere in the form.

I notice when I use Survey123 on the two portals that were switched with the new authentication, I don’t see the explicit login (in app) that I see with ArcGIS Pro, Portal or Dashboard. I'm sure the survey name is unique so that's not a possible cause for me. I’ll try to do the console logs and send it later. I’ll also try using a new computer without Survey123 and see how the connection behaves. As to the external browser question, I have seen it once and did it once but to be honest I can’t remember if it was Survey123, ArcGIS Pro, Dashboard or any of the two Portals I have tested. I can’t repeat the sign in option again. When I see it again I’ll give an update. THANKS!

James Tedric, thanks for the quick response and your explanation. The problem is my relevant questions are at the group questions and there are questions inside the group that are being use for dynamic calculation. Each relevant group is triggered by a previous select_multiple question. The sums that I'm calculating have addends from questions inside each group whether their questions were asked or not. Below I show 3 groups that have relevant columns. If two of these groups were not asked and one of them is asked, the calculations highlighted in yellow would still calculate for the sum of the questions from relevant group added to the zeroes from the questions of the groups that were not asked. It still works in 2.6.9 but I would surely would love to move up to the new version. As far as I recall this was my workaround for cascade selects and the maximum questions that can be published.

I believe this requires the search(_) function so its not supported yet until Cascading Selects feature is implemented.

JTedrick-esristaff, when you say "relevant", do you mean there's a value on the relevant column of the question or because the bind::esri:fieldType column of the question is null? What's the alternative? What's the logic for removing the feature?

When I upgraded to the latest version of Survey my calculations did not work. Basically this calculation is base on a number of integer questions (36 integer questions) Each integer question is a calculation of a product of two previous hidden questions. The multipliers (two of them) are from two previous hidden questions that are retrieved from pulldata. if I uninstall 2.7 and re-install 2.6.9 the calculation works. The behavior is the same for all the other users of the form. Below is screenshot from 2.7 Below is screenshot from 2.6.9 Screenshot of the survey in Excel is below white the red box is where the calculate questions are not working.

Philip Wilson, please add me to the list. I have a very similar feature need. I have a list of feature classes and a user picks a feature class on the list. The next question is a select_one which shows list of attributes of the feature class on the previous question. I'd like the second question type for the attributes to be select_multiple instead.

We just upgraded our Portal to 10.6 and we switched authentication from IWA (SSO) to OAUTH (Explicit Login). Using Connect 2.7.72 when I publish, as soon as I click on the Publish button, Connect opens the Publish Survey dialog, and as soon as Creating folder Info appears Error code: 400 Unable to create folder errors appears. One thing I notice with Connect when I switch from one portal to another (Test to UA or UA to test), connect launches a browser with the html title SUCCESS code: and on the page it specifies: OAuth2 Approval Please copy this code, switch to your application and paste it there: Not sure where to paste that code within Connect.

Thanks for identifying a workaround but the workaround may not be an ideal solution for our shop with an enterprise portal deployment across different companies. JTedrick-esristaff , after installing 2.7.72 I published my form and I continue to get the same error. Our Portal is 10.6.1. Any suggestions beside restarting the geoprocessing service?

James, does this mean that on each repeat table I can have a little less than 500 columns as well? As to the repeat_count I have four, I assume that's okay since its just a row on the repeat table.

User is prompted to answer number of rows and columns. form calculates rows times columns. The product of the two is the count of questions that needs to be created by the form. For examle user types 4 rows and 3 columns, form creates 12 select one questions, namely, N1,N2, ... and N12. Is this possible at all?

How about a "hidden_geopoint" question? What matters in this survey is the analyze tool of the web map version, providing data grouped by a question in the survey called division. In my case, the user do not need to enter lat long as they are being pulled from the external file using a fixed location of each division. Since a geopoint is a required value of every survey - whether I use it or not, I might as well add lat long since they look better on the web map by Division than having an arbitrary 0,0 location.
