Hello, Does anyone know how to change this text in the web map so it will then also be reflected in the Field App that is feeds? Please see attached image. It is difficult to explain. I have some layer sin the web map that the names of the layers and the text is correct in every place except where you click on the "edit" in the web map. now this would not an issue except that this feeds a Field App where you can see the incorrect text. anyway...long and the short of it...please see the attached image. and no, it is not the pop up text, or the layer name...tried those. 🙂 thanks Larisa

Hello everyone, This may seem like a simple/silly question but I am doing some workflows in Vertigis and it call for me to define the Map Layer ID for the published service as well as the may layer index. I knwo what the map layer ID is, and I can find that no problem from the REST endpoint...however, Icannot for the life of me find the map layer index number. for example I have service layer that I know is "104"....but how the heck do I find the layer index number? I know it is calling it out as the number "6" in my workflow. I must be missing something simple here?? see attached image. any help?

Hello, Does anyone know how I can change the value "view" to something else in the pop up in my Map Viewer. This word is actually a link to the url for websites that are in my dataset. The thing is , my dataset has the full url in the field and the field name is called out as "SITE WEB". When it populates the data, it just defaults to the word "view" and is linked to the url. (see the screen shot below) Is there anyway I can change that word? I have a French Site that I am developing. And no, it is not related to my browser language...tried that already. lol! Hope this makes sense. Thanks Larisa

Hello, Does anyone know if it is possible to create a line feature from a point using an angle and distance field defined in that point attribute data? Basically I want a line to be drawn from the point at a specified distance and angle. The end resultant line can have the point as a centre point starting point or end point, it does not matter. Also, I have thousands of points to do this too...they all have the same length, but various angles. Thanks Larisa

wow! I did not even know that was an option. I am so glad that you pointed that out to me....so I did not do that. So basically if I don't check that off, I can assign the ID's myself? With some reshuffling of workflow ids and a republish I think this will work. one question...if I republish now and uncheck that option...will they stay the way they are if I don't change the order? THANK YOU

Hello, I have a very specific and unique question that I could not find an answer to regarding the order of layers or tables of a service published from Arc Pro to ArcGIS Enterprise. I have a large Pro Project that has about 180 layers and about 21 tables in it that I have published out as a service for ArcGIS Enterprise. This service is use for a Geocortex App that we have developed for internal staff use. I know that I cannot change the order of the layers in the published service as it will disrupt some workflows we have running on certain layers (because of the defined layer ID). I need to add more feature classes to the project and republish, but it will not let me add layer under "underneath" or below the tables. the tables have rest end point layers id in the service too. My question is... how do I add a few more layers and NOT mess up the layer IDs of the tables when I republish? I am not sure if this makes sense. Here is a snap shot of the rest end point layer IDs.: as you can see...there is no real gap between the id numbers. any help would be great! Thanks Larisa

Katherine.... thank you, that was the issue. I had to add the default value to the original customer survey...even though it was hidden. I just figured that hidden meant just that. silly thing for me to overlook, but thank you for making me think a little more!

yes the question is in both surveys, but hidden in the "customer" survey. one that customer survey has been completed, I can access the "authoritative survey" and answer the two questions . and you might be right...I need to match it in both surveys. I did not think about that. I will try that.

HI Katherine, thank you for getting back to me. I am using version 3.12.232. I think this issue could be due to the fact that this survey is an "authoritative survey", that is, if I change the results in this one it changes results in another. I am using this survey to edit another....from what I have read and done before...this should not be an issue. However, I have not done this exact thing before.
