Support ended up logging a BUG for the issue I was facing. It's in their product plan now, so it will be addressed at some point.

Oh my gosh, yes, please. This is another great example of a simple but extremely important feature that was not ported into ArcGIS Pro from ArcMap. When you have teams performing edits, all the extra clicks and tool selects required by ArcGIS Pro really add up to a boatload of inefficiency. @KoryKramer

Double-click to edit vertices was stolen from us in ArcGIS Pro! 🙂 We want it baaack. A very simple shortcut to help streamline editing workflows. When a feature is selected in ArcGIS Pro, double-clicking that feature literally does nothing; replace nothing with something helpful! @KoryKramer

Oh, interesting... Yes, that is helpful. It kind of sounds like there is some sort of permission issue. Either ArcGIS Pro or database connection user. At this point, I'm just going to open a case and dive into it with ESRI. Thanks!

Thanks for posting this idea @PetrSTASTNY. Your response time table is a great example. Feature caching in ArcMap allowed us to get 3 times the work done; now, we are left with a new and "improved" software platform riddled with editing inefficiencies. I have tried every possible configuration you can imagine, and the performance of editing in ArcMap can simply not be matched in ArcGIS Pro...

Hello. Do you know what the status of ENH-000111765 is? We're getting crushed by overall editing inefficiency in ArcGIS Pro, and this enhancement would at least provide some relief.

I'm testing an ArcGIS Pro Migration now, and I am in shock at how much time these animations add to an already arduous ArcGIS Pro editing experience.

THANKS FOR THIS! I've been banging my head for a few days dealing with the same issue you had. Your arcade script worked great.

I’m not sure if this is a Field Maps or ArcGIS Pro Geodatabase Topology limitation... but, when using Field Maps to edit the geometry of point features in an ArcGIS Pro Geodatabase Topology, the connectivity of associated linework is not maintained. When editing a Geometric Network in Field Maps, line-to-point connectivity IS maintained when a point geometry is changed. @JeffShaner

Yes... of course. The bulletin states, "The scripts have been validated for versions 10.6 and above, however they should work on older versions of ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Server as well." Well I tested it on 10.5, and now sharing the result 🙂

@RandallWilliams I've ran the --list function from the mitigation script on our 10.5 ArcGIS Server and I receive 0 results.... Is this good news? or bad news in that the script just simply doesn't work on 10.5...... Pattern to search: c:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Server\**\*log4j-core*.jar

I worked with ESRI support and they created a bug to document the issue and get it in queue for their product plant. Interesting... looks like your symbology is based on one of the ESRI GNSS metadata fields? I wonder if that has anything to do with it. My symbology is also based on one of those GNSS metadata fields, but I am using the “Fix Type” field... On the feature service you are having issues with, were you using symbology based on unique values? That is where the issue lies with me. If I set the symbology to single symbol it works fine. I've replicated the issue on other features as well. I'm working with a tier 1 support analyst now, and I'm sure it will be found to be and logged as a bug; who knows how long before they get it fixed though.... FYI Doug Morgenthaler Case #02592331
