Hi Mary, The color editor is accessed from many places throughout the application. This makes it challenging to include an Apply button that would be functional and relevant in all cases. From the context of your idea, I think you are referring mainly to the case where you are changing the colors of symbols in a map or scene? Color is a property of components of a symbol. So the color editor is raised from different parts of the symbol pane at different times. Adding a dynamic Apply to it would effectively disable the symbology pane while the color was being applied. For large or detailed maps and scenes, this redraw can take some time. A workaround that will help in this situation is save a few candidate colors to your Favorites style. Then, you can choose them from the color palette on the Symbology pane (without entering the Color Editor at all), and trial different colors using the Apply button (or auto-apply capability) on the Symbology pane. See Save colors to a style for help.

Hi Teth, Nice to hear from you after all these years. I hope you're doing well. There are a number of help topics in the Get Started portion of the ArcGIS Pro documentation specifically written for users migrating from ArcMap. Have you had a chance to read these? If not, start with this one, and you'll see other topics that go into more detail in the same section, listed on the left. https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/get-started/migrate-to-arcgis-pro.htm Edie

Hi Tony, This is great information, and yes, we can get some additional 2D point symbols added for this sector. Could you help me out by providing some examples of how you'd expect to see these, and approximately what size you'd use them at? Even a scan or link to an existing map, or a link to a symbol specification that is commonly used in this industry? If not, we'll do some investigating here. Thank you! Edie

Thank you for this idea. We are happy to report that it has been implemented in ArcGIS Pro 3.5 as follows: The symbology histogram for class-based symbology includes the following enhancements: You can change the zoom level. You can change the bin count to show more or less detail in feature counts. You can hover over a bin to see the feature count. Labels are more legible, and keyboard accessibility was improved. See Use Symbology Histograms for more information. See the ArcGIS Pro 3.5 Ideas Wrap-up blog for all the ideas we implemented in ArcGIS Pro 3.5.

Thank you for this idea. We implemented this in ArcGIS Pro 3.5 so that when you save items to a style, the unique value symbols are named after their symbol class value rather than the layer name. See the Save items to a style help topic for more information. See the Your Ideas in ArcGIS Pro 3.5 blog post for all the ideas we implemented in our latest release.

@RTPL_AU and @SimonSchütte_ct Thank you for your continued feedback. Ideally, a workflow would establish symbol classes first, then adjust labels when classes have been established. For cases where the data is often updated, we provide this new option that you can set for those layers to ensure that the symbol class labels are not overwritten when the class values change.

This setting is a property of the symbology of a layer. There is not a project-wide or application-wide setting to specify this behavior in every case.
