Hi Eleana, From that error message it appears that your org administrator has either removed the privilege to perform analysis or you don't have sufficient credits allocated to your user to perform analysis operations. Can you confirm with your org's administrator if that's the case? Thanks, Steve

Hi Nathan, The VectorStreetMap layer does contain building footprints for much of the world, but (as you've found) it appears there is no coverage over Syracuse. A good option instead would be OpenStreetMap. Esri makes OSM data available as live feature layers through this group: https://www.arcgis.com/home/group.html?id=66d66956ab444ae89e8265f008704d4b#overview The layer that you would specifically want to use is the North America Buildings layer: https://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=8573b205d20d4be38b6e11eb05dd151b You can add the layer using the URL above by choosing the 'ArcGIS Online URL' option when in the Add Layer dialog within Maps for Adobe. Hope this helps. Thanks, Steve

Hi Sophia, This is expected behavior for Photoshop. When using Maps for Adobe in Photoshop the output file type is .tif, which doesn't support layers. As a result, you get a single rasterized layer for everything. In Illustrator, the output is a vector format which is why you see individual layers. You could do a couple different things. If you want to use Photoshop, you can download each layer you want individually and you'll get a new layer in Photoshop for each download. Note that each layer will be a non-editable raster layer though. You could also use Illustrator which supports raster layers as well as vector, so you'd get a layered output (including the raster layers) mixed in with the editable vector ones. Hope this helps, Steve

Hi Fellene, You shouldn't be able to login at arcgis.com with your Plus username and password, that account can only be used to sign in to Maps for Adobe. Is it possible that you created your map in ArcGIS Online with a different account? Feel free to email me directly (steven_moore@esri.com) if you'd like to setup a phone call to look into this further. Thanks, Steve

Hi Fellene, What kind of content are you trying to get into Illustrator? A webmap, feature layer, shapefile, etc. And where in the process are you having trouble? Are you able to add the content to your map in Maps for Creative Cloud and see it there? Thanks, Steve

Hi Sean, For now we're publishing OSM data on a regional basis for scalability and performance reasons. However, that could change at some point in the future once we're out of beta. As you noted, the regions currently available are North America, Africa, and Central America. Europe is being worked on right now and should be available in the next 2-3 weeks. After that we plan to have the remaining regions up and running within the next few months. The blog that Marco linked to also has some good information, but feel free to reply here with any further questions or feedback. Thanks, Steve

Hi Victor, Unfortunately there’s no way to export back out to a GIS data format. Once you download into Illustrator you’re dealing with a snapshot of the source data, and we don’t have any way of syncing back to another format. It’s essentially a one-way street. We’ve heard similar requests from other users in the past and we’ve discussed it internally. The main reason we can’t support it is the rest of the ArcGIS platform can’t support the symbology and visual effect options that are available in Illustrator. However, this is a slightly different request since it sounds like you just want to export the modified features, not the styling that you’ve setup in AI. It might not quite fit as a workflow for Maps for Creative Cloud (since we have other GIS software designed to carry out data editing workflows), but I’ll bring this up with our team and discuss it as a potential feature somewhere down the road. Thanks, Steve Moore

Hi Mathias Gieser, Support for Portal is still absolutely on the roadmap for us, but it is unfortunately taking longer than expected. As Clint mentioned previously, there are some other large pieces of functionality we first must implement, namely integrating with ArcGIS Pro. We expect to have a beta program for Pro integration early next year, and hope to have it released before UC 2020. After that, support for Portal will be the next large project we tackle. We fully understand the need to work with Portal users and it's one of the most asked-for features. We're getting close, and while I can't give you a concrete timeline I can tell you it is the next big enhancement we'll take on. Thanks, Steve
