There is no Image analysis window in ArcGIS Pro. Instead the tools are available from the Raster Functions Pane. View the help document at Apply functions to a dataset—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS for Desktop . Once you have accessed the Raster Functions Pane, the Shaded Relief tool you are looking for is under the Surface pulldown at the bottom of the pane.

When adding a service from your ArcGIS Server, do it from the My Content window and not from the Map. In My content, create a folder to organize your content. Click the Add Item pulldown Select the option From the web In the next dialog box, enter the URL of Map Service layer from your ArcGIS Server Rest Services Directory. If the service is a secure service, the dialog box will change and allow you enter your credentials. You will also have the opportunity to store the credentials with the item so your ArcGIS Online users will not get prompted for credentials every time the service is accessed. The option is yours. Once the item is added. It will show up as a feature layer in ArcGIS Online.

If you have access to a web server, you can place the photos on a webserver and use them there. If not, you can upload your images to a site like Flickr. As long as you grant public viewing permissions, the images will appear in the html popup. There are sample xsl templates installed with ArcGIS Desktop at C:\Program Files (x86)\ArcGIS\Desktop10.x\Styles\HTMLPopup. You can copy and paste the code from the example .xsl into the HTML Popup tab of the layer properties for your layer. In the EmbeddVideo.xsl, you will see segments of code that start with <xsl: when. You can modify one of those sections to match the snippet above, or add the snippet from above as another test.

Geodatabase attachments are not exported to the KMZ. In order to view the image, you'd need to save the photo to a location that is web enabled and add they hyperlink of the image to a field in your feature class. Then you would need to modify the html popup xsl template in the layer properties to include a test for field values. <xsl:when test="FieldValue[starts-with(., 'http://yourimageserver.com/image_directory/')]">
<a target="_blank">
<xsl:attribute name="href"><xsl:value-of select="FieldValue"/>
</xsl:attribute>
<img>
<xsl:attribute name="src">
<xsl:value-of select="FieldValue"/>
</xsl:attribute>
<xsl:attribute name="width">
<xsl:value-of select="250"/>
</xsl:attribute>
</img>
</a>
</xsl:when> The photo will show up in the html popup in ArcMap in the table provided the url base included in the XML test matches the beginning of the URLs for the photos. When exported to KMZ, the html popup should look the same in google earth. It will also hyperlink to the photo for full screen viewing.

ArcGIS Pro is the future. It is designed to work with GIS services and is being positioned as the premier tool for GIS analysts to work with GIS Data, especially from the web. ArcMap was not designed to work in such an environment. It is not cost efficient for software companies to reverse engineer their old products to work with new technology, and it does not make any sense for them to continue intense development for both products. I believe you will see more and more functionality added to ArcGIS Pro that is not added to ArcMap. We are seeing it already with vector tiles. While you may not be ready to make the jump now, eventually there will be a reason for people to make the change. Another motive for ESRI is to change their revenue stream. The new licensing model is based on named users on subscription, while the old model was based on a shared bank of concurrent use licenses with annual maintenance fees. Concurrent use licenses are often shared by large numbers of people. Imagine if the 20 shared licenses could be turned into 80 named users. Then those 80 users will also need access to premium apps that are also assigned to named users and not shared. By enticing existing customers into the new applications, they buy into a new licensing model which will help generate more revenue without forcing the software company to generate new sales. ESRI is certainly not the only software company doing this. It is a trend in the industry.

Unfortunately I don't have any suggestions that will help you with hosted feature services. If you were hosting them on your own ArcGIS Server, I would recommend you stop and start the services. Occasionally this happens on our ArcGIS Server and a quick stop/start fixes the problem.

Do you know the source of the Parcel feature class? It is possible that it was projected to the same coordinate system as the other features by someone without using the correct transformation method. If that happened, you want to go back to the original data and re-project it using the proper transformation method.

I am building a web applications using the web app builder. The end users of the web app are interested in querying the data on up to 3 different fields. I can create a filter widget that forces the end user to make a selection for each field, but I cannot create a filter that allows them to pick and choose which of the fields they want to query. The three fields are: Distance (Double), End Product (Text), and Top Ten (Text). Ideally I'd like the end user to be able to create a filter that uses any combination of result from the three fields. The distance query I am using the operator "is at most", so the user can enter any distance they choose. The End Product field contains is a list of 12 unique values. Ideally I'd like them to be able to choose either <any> or a combination of 1,2, or 3 end products. Top Ten is a text field that stores Yes or No. Again, I'd like to be able to choose <any>, Yes, or No. Does anybody have any suggestions for me? Joe

I also received this error. It was very frustrating. I did some troubleshooting for a while trying to figure out what was going on. I decided to try switching to the Advanced license and the error disappeared. I was able to publish the tiled map service.

I have experienced the strange behavior from the ArcGIS.com map interface as well. The feature template works, but the map viewer does not translate the domain descriptions. When I attempt to add a new feature, the input dialog box shows yellow ! warnings instead of my yes/no coded value domain. I am interested in knowing when the bug is fixed myself. If you open the web map with the ArcGIS Explorer online viewer, it will respect the default values for your subtype. That may help.

I have a hosted feature service we are using to collect sample locations in the field with picture attachments. We have been having problems with the automatic editor tracking and I would like to add a Sample_Date field to the service. There are two ways I can think of to make the changes I need. Update the existing hosted feature service. Create a new feature sservice and append data and attachments Which is the recommended workflow, and how do I accomplish the task without losing any of my existing data? I appreciate any help that anybody has to offer.
