ArcGIS Online does not appear to reserve an available User Type when inviting a new member. This becomes a problem when we have a lot of new user growth to our ArcGIS Online site. Often we will have more requests for a given User Type than we have User Types available. It would be helpful to place a reservation on a User Type when inviting a new member. When the user accepts the invitation, they can actually get into the system instead of having to deal with the generic login error that they receive having to escalate the matter to an ArcGIS Online Administrator. The User Type reservation could expire along with the expiration of the new member invitation.
