Hi Elizabeth, Thanks for checking in on this. For column and bar charts, it is possible to manually re-order. The option can be found under sort: Having selected sort manually, you can drag a column or bar to the order you would like. Press Apply on exit of manually sorting. If you have temporal fields, all date/time components are automatically ordered correctly. You can convert string fields to time (e.g. if the formatting has been lost in a csv file), by clicking on the icon of the field: You will the see the date/time components in the correct order in all charts. I hope that helps.

Mr. Kapalczynski, What are the main differences between ArcGIS Velocity and Insights. They both appear to work with big data, query, analyze etc. Just trying to wrap my head around them....Any thoughts would be helpful ArcGIS Insights is a user facing application that can connect to a number of data sources, external and internal to the Esri ecosystem, standardize the schema, create an analytical workflow and ultimately create a number of information products from it. Its main capabilities is the ability to execute analysis on non-spatial data such as numeric or textual data as well as analysis on spatial data and create a sharable output. Data sources supported are: Sharepoint, One Drive, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, Big Query, Redshift, SAP Hana, Geopandas, Koalas, Apache Spark, any Geodatabase deployment, Map and Feature Services or any data source with a JDBC driver which a user could install into the software. ArcGIS Velocity is a real-time (event-based) and batch processing environment that can parse spatial data from data sources external to the Esri ecosystem, provide a spark-based analytical environment and egress the result as a Feature Service which than can be used in any number of Esri user facing applications. Data sources supported are: any Esri Feature layer, S3, Azure Blob Storage, Azure CosmosDB, HTTP Poller, RSS

Hi @Ed_ Good question. The Layer Options, on the card can be used to change the color for such charts. For example:

Hi @LauraBecht We have changed our maps, at the last release. ArcGIS Insights now uses the same mapping technology as is available across ArcGIS, for example the web map viewer. For the most part you should not see changes as we did our best to fold in the Insights functions but, this is one where we you see some difference. To remove the lower values, I recommend you use a filter or you could run the density analysis tool where you will have more control over the final visualization.

Hi SaadullahBaloch I am not sure exactly where it's going wrong for you. I just installed tidyverse and ran a quick example and managed to get a plot. Maybe try this simple example and see if that works for you first?

Hi, From the screenshot, it looks like that may be the previous version of Insights. We have not released the latest version for ArcGIS Enterprise nor the desktop version. Currently, the sparklines will only appear when using Insights in ArcGIS Online. The former will be released imminently.

If I am understanding you correctly, you can solve this using table calculations in Insights. On your original data, add a new field for the count of error and calculate the count IF(VALUE = “ERROR”, 1, 0) Repeat in a second field for “OK” using IF(VALUE = “OK”, 1, 0) Now create a summary table using Day and Station ID. The count will be created. Now drag over your fields for Count Error and Count OK. You can now calculate the percentage from that summary table, dividing e.g. Count error/count. You can create another card, e.g. a bar chart from day and percentage. Change the Statistic on ‘Percentage’ to AVG, to ensure that it is calculating the percentage correctly depending on the number of days rather than giving the sum.

Hi @chelynnes Just as @LauraBecht suggests, the way to do it is to create an advanced filter and select anything that is not null (e.g. Country <> ''). There is now that option using ISNOTNULL just to make it a little easier.

Hi Ashley, I am wondering if your data is remote, in that it is stored outside of your organization's data store? This link may be helpful https://doc.arcgis.com/en/insights/latest/administer/configure-insights.htm There is a limit for remote datasets but you can configure it.

Hi, Thanks for your great question. The link analysis in Insights creates the triple store (from-to-link) dynamically and, currently, we do not save that information anywhere other than in the visual. Currently, there is no ability to export those results. We realize this is a limitation and we have this functionality on a our near-term road map.

Thanks for your post. Insights now allows the axis to be the same or different. The combochart can now be used to compare relative difference or actual differences. This was released with version 2020.3 (September 2020)
