@Anonymous User we have Concurrent use licensing servers and set the SOFTWARE_CLASS=Viewer parameter when installing. How to set the default extensions for LocateXT or Image Analyst etc. ? I had the same install error on a Windows Server 2016, but it was fixed by using the above mentioned guide. I have admin rights on the system and had to enabled "show-hidden-files" in Windows to delete all the leftovers from previous Pro installations. It is a common issue, why not create a uninstall tool esri? ... View more

@KoryKramer , BUG-000121722 is listed as fixed in ArcGIS Pro 2.7 , but in my testing the "FolderPath" feature is not working in version 2.7.  When I export a point fc with 6 features using "Layer to kml", this is all the data that is exported in the kmz file, besides the header:     <Document id="Cat1"> <name>Cat1</name> <snippet></snippet> <description><![CDATA[map]]></description> </Document> </kml>       I also found a "debug.log" in the project folder stating:     [1219/134021.263:ERROR:directory_reader_win.cc(43)] FindFirstFile: The system cannot find the path specified. (0x3)       I added the ArcGIS Pro test project to this post and reported the bug to support. I hope this bug finds some love 🙂 ... View more

You can access PostgreSQL/PostGIS spatial databases without enabling them as an ESRI Enterprise Geodatabase:   "Unless you have specific needs for an ESRI Enterprise Geodatabase due to ArcGIS editing workflows, need for advanced geodatabase data types, relationship classes etc, you may be able to simply connect to the spatial database using ArcGIS Query Layersand not enable an Enterprise Geodatabase.   You just need to run the Add Incrementing ID Field tool against any spatial table in the PostGreSQL/PostGIS database if there is no suitable unique ID field for each record in the table. You will then be able to add a Query Layer including spatial columns to ArcGIS.   If your requirements are just "read-only" access of PostGIS data maintained by another software package, this setup may suffice.   I have run such a setup against large PostGIS databases with great success."
