Thanks Joe Borgione. The "Create Feature Class Tool" unfortunately dose not transfer the subtypes to the new feature class. Any idea how to include the subtypes too?

I have an empty point feature class in a file geodatabase. I also need an exact copy of this in a line and polygon feature class type (in the same file geodatabase). I am unable to identify any tools or arcpy workflows that allow me to change an existing empty feature class type. An export to shapefile will remove all the subtypes and long field names and field alias. I use ArcGIS Pro 2.2 - Advanced license level. My hope was a python code with the following flow: - Create a copy of the existing point feature class in the same file geodatabase - Changing feature class type to line/polygon Any help is greatly appreciated.

Update after ArcGIS Pro v2.2.2 is released: The wait time before the user can modify the records or simply open the Attribute table is unchanged using a basic license in v2.2.2. This bug is not related to a specific geodatabase design. Every aspect of ArcGIS Pro is slower on a basic license compared to a standard license (Concurrent Use license server). I need more time to verify if this bug is OS related (win7) or what. But editing data in a FC using a basic license is painful slow. The only fix is to change the user to a standard license, and ArcGIS Pro 2.2.2 runs as expected. We are working with technical support on this issue.

Sorry for my short answers Xander, we have tested this bug for 1½ month and I am loosing my mind. Yes, we used the same computer, same dataset, same user, assigning a different license level and the performance is like day and night!?! We have also tested all the scenarios we could think of like other users, computers, building new databases, patching ArcGIS Pro etc. Yes, I am now working with our national Esri Support.

Dan: The basic and standard Concurrent Use license is managed from the same Windows server running ESRI License Manager Version: 2018.0. Xander: The performance difference is a deal breaker, the user refuse to wait 8 seconds to simply add the next value in the Attribute table as shown in this example: Basic license: The wait time before the user can modify the record with OBJECTID=186 is 8 seconds, after his first change to record with OBJECTID=192. Standard license: Wait time = 2 seconds The PerfTools is new to me, thanks for sharing!

This issue happens on a Basic licensed ArcGIS Pro 2.2.1 (also in previous Pro versions) and when working with simple tasks like modifying feature classes (FC) records using the Attribute table that contain domains or subtypes. The bug also effects all geoprocessing tools in ArcGIS Pro. The effect of this bugs is that ArcGIS Pro is not usable and we had to stop using ArcGIS Pro because simple tasks take 400% longer than normal for ArcGIS Pro. No change if Project is located on an SSD or network storage. The bug is consistent when moving to a new machines and/or users account. The project file geodatabase consists of 24 fc and multiple subtypes and domains. But removing subtypes or domains dose not restore normal performance. Compact the FGDB does not resolve this problem. Working workarounds (but not acceptable): 1) Instant fix when changing to Standard/Advanced Concurrent Use license in ArcGIS Pro 2.2.1 2) Delete number of records in FC to below 100 Issues addressed at ArcGIS Pro 2.2.0 that looks similar: BUG-000111489: A feature class with hundreds of Domains and Subtypes has low performance with other tools. System Setup: ArcGIS Pro version: 2.2.1 License Manager Version: 2018.0 Systems spec.: CPU and GPU way above ArcGIS Pro recommended specifications OS: Win7

The domains are fine as seen below: I have this issue in other File Geodatabases using domains and subtypes, also using ArcGIS Pro 2.1.2. This bug is also not system dependent (Win7 and Win10 systems). I uploaded a test project here. When i open the GDB in ArcMap 10.5.1 the labels in the Contents menu are not duplicated.

The error was in the File Geodatabase. Edit a field's alias using the Fields view did for an unknown reason not alter the geodatabase. I exported the geodatabase XML workspace documents and used enterprise architect to update the field alias.

When connecting ArcGIS Pro 2.1.1 to a File geodatabase on a network drive, the wrong (old) Field aliases are shown in the Feature Class. The Field Name is up to date. But when opening the same Feature Class on the machine that created the File geodatabase, the correct Field aliases are shown? All systems running ArcGIS Pro 2.1.1 on Win7.

I found a workaround: Deauthorizing all Pro basic concurrent licenses removed the FAIL error i License Manager. Then I added the needed licenses back into the License Manager and all is working again.

Rebecca: Thanks, I did look at my.esri.com and the deauthorized Pro basic license was returned perfectly. I also returned the Pro basic license back to the same server, hoping it would fix it. But it is also listed as FAIL in the license manager and no pro basic licenses work on the network. Jayanta: I did, but support never tried deauthorizing a concurrent-use ArcGIS Pro license before... I hope next week will bring more light into this deauthorizing Pro concurrent-use license issue.

Thank you Dan, I am familiar with the the requirements by Esri. The license server still works, but no Pro basic licenses can be used on the network after I tried to deauthorize 1 basic Pro license from the server.

When deauthorizing a concurrent-use ArcGIS Pro basic license in License manager 10.5.1 result in all concurrent-use Pro basic licenses to FAIL on the server. The Standard and Advanced Pro license still works (and deauthorizing is not started until fix is found). Deauthorizing concurrent-use Desktop licenses has worked in the past on the server, but apparently not for Pro licenses...? FLEXlm error from the log file: desktopbasicP - "No such feature exists"
