@MappingMoose Awesome work figuring out that workaround!! Yes, opening a support case for logging a new enhancement request would be the best way. Another option would be to log a new ArcGIS Idea within the Esri community. Since this request may have multiple product teams involved, I'm not sure which community forum would be the best target, so I think I would recommend logging it into the more general ArcGIS Online Ideas - Esri Community.

Hi @MappingMoose , Survey123 supports URL parameters for filling out attributes. You could embed a survey in Experience Builder (Embed widget) using the survey URL and its parameters, and pass dynamic values for each parameter, so when you select data in your app it populates values in the new survey entry automatically based on the selected feature. I do not believe this is currently supported for the Edit widget and the configured editing Form in that context I would recommend logging an enhancement request for this via Esri Support!

@ccapizzano @JasonFitzsimmons the Web Editor now also supports copy pasting multiple features at once between different layers. The pasted features remain selected so you can merge them right away! See> What's New in ArcGIS Web Editor (October 2025)

In your image, "McKenzie" is coming from the selected feature's attributes (the feature you are editing). What displays here would depend on the title you defined in the popup configuration for that layer, or on the display field you defined when publishing the feature service.

In the coming Experience Builder in ArcGIS Online update, closing the Edit widget when it's placed inside a Widget Controller, or another layout container widget, will stop editing. Also, a prompt to discard edits is displayed if there are any unsaved edits.

Hi @Brian_Mocci , I am curious to know if a relationship class between your parent project table layer and the asset layers would work in this case? Feature creation supports "batch" creation of multiple features at once, and you can use Calculated expressions in Forms to automatically grab the "project" attributes and write them into the child features fields (see example 2 in this blog). Here's a quick sample I created (this is ArcGIS Online, so it has all the latest functionality): Web Map > Related Projects and Assets Now, one remaining challenge is that the Edit widget in Experience Builder only supports editing table records (the Project table layer) while in "Attribute only" mode. And "Attribute mode" does not support creating the related Asset features as you can do in the Map Viewer. There may be some enhancement request for Experience Builder here; perhaps a way to launch "Add feature" from within the Table widget when the Edit widget is present as you see it in Map Viewer. One simple workaround for this "Attribute only" mode limitation, would be to use a Feature layer (e.g., polygon or point features) instead of a Table layer for Project records. Then the Edit widget can be used in "Interact with a Map widget" mode to edit both the project and asset features, and you'll be able to create related assets for every project. Another option, if you still need to use a Table layer for projects, could be to use the Web Editor instead. There is also a Web Editor Instant Apps template (in beta, for now) that you can configure. Example below:

Hi @RandyMcGregor_BMcD , If you are in ArcGIS Online, the label at the top for a selected feature you are editing should reflect the Pop-up title configured for the layer in the map (or saved against the layer item itself). If you are using an earlier version, such as an Enterprise version, this may be displaying the value from the Display Field, which you determine when you publish your feature service. This would be similar to this post> Edit Widget - Choosing the Asset Title to display ... - Esri Community, and to resolve this, you need to update the Display Field > How To: Change Display Field Using ArcGIS Server Services Directory REST API.

@JasonFitzsimmons Please it would be helpful if you could also create an idea with this request in the Web Editor community? > ArcGIS Web Editor Ideas - Esri Community All new copy-paste functionality is being built into the Web Editor and will then make it into Experience Builder eventually. Copy multiple and paste as one multi-part feature is something that we support in the Smart Editor widget in Web AppBuilder, and if this is functionality you still require, we should request it as part of the new copy-paste toolkit.
