Add isolate and freeze selection function to ArcGIS Pro, as in 3dsmax. You have select by attributes tool but we can't see what we selected, I know they turn blue and glowing when we select it, but still not helpful when dealing with large and complicated features. Also to isolate and display only the seleted feature could save a lot on graphic card.

I also have this question, actually it's somehow like the slice multipatch feature tool with Solid option that automatically generates missing faces while slicing.

Hello Kory, It's a general and overbroad comparation, not quantized specific. I raise that to prove it's not my computer's fault. It's only a model of some buildings, originally in .max format, export to .obj and using Import 3D Files tool into ArcGIS Pro. And ArcGIS Pro is in particularly disadvantage if complex model with lots small parts. It will be much better if we create a scene layer package out of it. After adding data, ArcGIS Pro could give an instance display. So my guess is, for multipatch, ArcGIS Pro try to render every piece of it at the same time, and stay busy and jammed until finish. But for SLPK, it only render what we need to see, first level of LoD. All I ask is: Faster loading and rendering Do the job background and keep the interface active so we can use this time to do something, not just sit here watching and wait. When we click the cancel button, kill the process at once, and try not to kill the entire software with unsave project Thank you.

When adding a large content, actually any content into ArcGIS Pro, it will stop response for a very long time, just like this. It's really annoying and not convenient. The computer already is high end. The same module in 3dsmax is very smooth and even without waitting time. But in ArcGIS Pro, the status above will be for like 10 minutes. Actually that status appears whenever the software is busy and jammed, and you can't do anything but wait. Please do something, Thank you.

After upload the slpk file to the portal, why do we need to publish them to server again? It seems all publish tool does is putting nodes, features, shared, resources file, AKA the slpk file, into couchDB. But I didn't see where geometry, texture and attribute file are. When we view the scene layer, the portal fetch it from the couchDB, and there is still one completely useless slpk file in portal, wasting storage. If we delete it, the portal could still fetch the scene layer. So I belive the geometry, texture and attribute file are also in couchDB. So why don't we directly upload slpk file into couchDB? I belive that would be faster, saving half of the time, and more efficent since we don't need to keep an extra copy in portal. A more crazier thought, why do we need publish at all? Wolud it be better if we just give the url of a slpk file to portal for directly reading all nodes and resources inside?

Melita Kennedy Hello Melita, Sorry to bring this topic up again, but in ArcMap, the option "unknown" works so good for many many years, I really can't see how could there be "too many side issues" for that in ArcGIS Pro. And there is another good reason for "unknown" to exsit is for local refence. Some data uses local or regional coordinate system that doesn't exist in Pro. So we have to reset them to "unknown" and then define project to something that in the system. That way we keep the original coordinates(and it's location) put them into a new refrence without transformation. To be clear, we always choose the new refrence with closest central meridian to avoid and minimal the deformation. In fact, the entire support of coordinate systems has been declined since the good old ArcMap. In Pro we can still use a prj file to define local refrence, but not in Enterprise. So not only we want a "unknown" option in Pro, we also want an upgrade in local refence on all Esri platform, if it's possible. Thank you. Karl

Actually I did nothing, this very offen happens whenever you open an attribute table with large dataset and many columns. And even with small dataset, it usually appears with width of the title, not content. Thank you!

Now in the web apps of ArcGIS Javascript api only cache very little data, and I didn't find any prams to optmize. So when you browsering large dataset, particularly 3D dataset. It frequently reloads areas that we just browsed and cached a few minutes ago. If we browse a bit faster, sometimes it could lost cache of seconds ago. Could you set a parameter to determine cache size? Thank you.

Actually mainly on 3D object and building, since you currently not support Revit's texture. Thank you.

Hi Andrew, When editting a scene service, you have to be prepared when publishing. and only apply to 3d object and point. It's really not convenient, particularly when dealing with existing old data. For now in my own work flow, I mostly need append/merge and texture editting. Thank you.
