I created a road network using ArcMap 10.6 in Projected Coordinate System (PDO_1993_UTM_Zone_40N - meters). I have one travel mode in this network(car). there is no restriction attribute in my road network and i am using length(meters) as default impedance and i have travel time as well. I have defined the driving directions (km) as follows. Directions Configured: Yes General Directions: Display Length Units: Kilometers Length Attribute: Length Time Attribute: TimeInMin Source Directions: Centreline: Street Name Fields: Primary: Name: NAME Suffix Type: TYPE Using Make a Map with your own data tutorial I did the following steps: I used ArcGIS Pro 2.4 to created a custom basemap Added the road network layers to this basemap. Created a new map and added this basemap to it. Executed the "Create mobile map package" tool to create a package. Executed "Share Package" to share it on ArcGIS Online. Now the issue is when i am using it in Navigator for ArcGIS i am getting a route in miles and i am not finding any option to change it to km. My main concern is when i create and share the mobile map package i want to use km to be default unit for route.

The problem is resolved now and I would like to share the solution so i am answering my own question. I tried publishing multiple network datasets and the issue was same. This was causing an issue in configuring the directions widget in Web App Builder as well. However this is resolved now. I am using ArcGIS Portal and it turns out this was configured in portal settings. I have to remove the default settings of portal (Under Organization -> Utility Services -> Directions and Routing -> Routing Utilities URL) It was overriding the travel modes which I published in my network service. Now when I removed this from our staging portal I am getting the correct travel modes.

The problem is resolved now and I would like to share the solution so i am answering my own question. So the issue was i was getting wrong travel modes from my service itself and since these travel modes were not actually defined in my network so they were causing this issue. I was getting wrong travel modes due to the face i am running this on a ArcGIS portal where we had a default setting due to which the travel modes were getting overridden with the actual ones which i defined. I have to remove the default settings of portal (Under Organization -> Utility Services -> Directions and Routing -> Routing Utilities URL) Now when I removed this from our staging portal I am getting the correct travel modes and the widget is working as well.

I have a road network which i published on ArcGIS portal. The road network is working fine on ArcMap and when i published it is working fine using ArcGIS Rest API directly (.../RoadNetwork/NAServer/Route/). I am having issues while configuring the directions widget in Webappbuilder (2.13 or before). I have two questions 1. Travel Mode URL is giving me suggestion to add a GP Service why should i use a GP Service when i have the option to retrieve travel mode using ArcGIS rest API (..../RoadNetwork/NAServer/Route/retrieveTravelModes/) does this mean i have to publish a GP Service ? 2. When i configure the widget and run the directions i am getting following error in console. What i am doing wrong ?

I have a geodatabase with more then 50 feature classes and 60-70 tables. Feature classes are inside a feature dataset which is using a projected cooridnate system. There are 250+ relationship classes inside feature dataset linking feature classes with eachother as well as with tables. Similarly there are relationship classes outside feature dataset as well. My task is to convert the projection of all feature classes from Projected to WGS84. If i do it one by one and write to a new feature dataset i loose the relationship class. If i apply project tool on feature data set then it creates a new feature dataset with feature classes but only few relationship classes are there. How should i project a feature data set (all feature classes) keeping all the relationship classes? even if a break all relationship classes and create a new feature data set is there a way that i can copy the relationship classess without creating each one by one?

Where do you work and what is your role? Hi, my name is Muhammad Ali and i am from Pakistan. Currently i am working as a GIS Developer in Oman, contracting in Oil and Gas company. What GIS success have you had this year and what product did you use? (big or small - no win is out of bounds) This year i have been working with Linear Referencing and implementation of PODS data model. Other then that mostly providing general GIS Support, Arcpy Scripting, Portal Administration. What is your expertise (GIS related or not), and how can that help the community? I have done BE-GeoInformatics and then MS in Remote Sensing and GIS from NUST Pakistan. After that i worked in a GIS providing company in Pakistan and Saudi Arab. Mainly i have worked as a Geospatial developer. I am willing to help in ArcObjects (SOE, Addins, Extensions), ArcGIS Runtime(Desktop Applications), ArcPy(Tools and Data modeling scripts), ArcGIS Portal Administration, ArcGIS extensions(Network Analyst, Utility Analyst etc). Fiber data model, electric data model, Pipeline data model. Bonus Round! Post the coordinates to your favorite place on earth. 21.422699, 39.826202

I am observing a very strange behavior. I have published a network service on version 10.61. When i click on .../NAServer/Route/retrieveTravelModes?f=json I get following travel modes which are not defined in my network data set. Walking Time Rural Driving Distance Driving Time Driving Distance Walking Distance Rural Driving Time Trucking Time When i try to get travel mode on the same network data using arcpy.na.GetTravelModes I get following travel modes which i defined in my network data set. Avoid Planned Roads I have tried publishing same network dataset twice on my server but i am observing the same behavior. What i am missing here ?

Hi I am using WAB 2.10 and i have a road network and my custom requirement is I do not want to use any travel modes. I do not want time to be used as impedance attribute as i am using length. I do not want Geo-coding or reverse Geo-coding to be used. When i try to use out of the box directions widgets it gave me errors on time units and it seems that you have to use travel mode with a specific name and even when i created a travel mode this widget was not picking it until unless i give that specific name. I am sending requests to Rest page and it is working fine. When i dig into code i came to knew that this widget is actually creating a JS API directions dijit which limits me in updating code. Is there any simpler but configurable widget for this ?
