Question: In a Survey123 mobile app with a GeoShape body::esri:style setting, can iconColor be a variable/calculation? If yes, how? Scenario: On the last page of the form, the user is presented a geoshape map summary with a repeat geopoint overlay. In this overlay styling, the label correctly pulls the value from the repeat question "trim_position", displaying as the overlay point label on the map. In the same repeat that houses the trim_position, we have a question named "trim_color", containing the word blue. When coding blue directly into the style, it presents as a blue icon. When trying to reference the repeat value (where = blue), it fails and defaults to black. Examples of body::esri:style Static Color Works: overlay=repeat_name&preview=true&iconColor=blue&label=trim_position&fontSize=18 Dynamic Color Does Not Work: overlay=repeat_name&preview=true&iconColor=trim_color&label=trim_position&fontSize=18 overlay=repeat_name&preview=true&iconColor=${trim_color}&label=trim_position&fontSize=18 Can anyone provide any insight into using variables as values in these settings?

Did they happen to give any root cause detail? We experience this frequently, seeminly moreso in the heat, but there are also theories of connectivity issues causing this both on form submission, and also form launch via URl scheme. .

I've experienced similar results, and it is a pain, especially if you don't catch it until you've stored thousands of calculated fields that should have never been calculated in the first place. To get around it, I build the relevant into the calculation, with an IF statement. It is a pain, but it does keep you from displaying incomplete calculations. Example: if(${prescrn_q1} != '' and ${prescrn_q2} != '' and ${prescrn_q3} != '' and ${prescrn_q4} != '' and ${prescrn_q5} != '' and ${prescrn_q6} != '',number(${prescrn_q1}) + number(${prescrn_q2}) + number(${prescrn_q3}) + number(${prescrn_q4}) + number(${prescrn_q5}) + number(${prescrn_q6}),'')

Similar challenge here. It would be great to allow workers to status jobs while offline to help them recognize what they've completed, but you would almost have to lock down dispatching while an assigned worker is offline to ensure that you don't reassign work that someone is already working in an offline state. We're contemplating using Collector to allow offline management of the assignment layer, but that brings in its own challenges with showing workers their personalized views, then managing deltas when they come back and attempt to push data that may have been updated by dispatch while they were offline. In our case, we're connected most of the time, but do travel to rural or underground work locations that have spotty coverage.
